Inspect your belts and hoses often. Replace your timing belt every 60,000 miles and your serpentine belt every 40,000 miles. It's recommended that you change your hoses every 4 years, or whenever one is showing signs of wear. Giving your belts and hoses a quick glance can save you down the road. Worn down belts can cause other damage to important parts of your car.

HELP! My check engine light came on, what do I do?

Don't panic! Follow these steps:

1. Check for immediate issues: Safely pull over and check for obvious problems like low oil levels, overheating, or loose gas caps.
2. If none of the above, give us a call!
3. We will make an appointment over the phone for you to come in and get it checked out! Once here, we'll be able to diagnose the problem and help you get back on the road safely!

Check your shocks, springs, and struts(also known as your suspension system) every 15,000 - 30,000 miles. Your car's suspension is a complex component often overlooked until it fails, resulting in a bouncy ride similar to a trampoline park. If one shock requires replacement, it's advisable to replace all four for the car's longevity and performance.

With the weather warming up, it's a great time to check your coolant! It's good to check your coolant twice a year-once when it's getting warm outside and again when the weather starts to cool off. Your coolant affects everything from the air conditioning/heater to the radiator and water pump. To keep everything in proper working order, you don't want to skip the maintenance on this.

Replace your brake pads! Get your brake fluid checked each time you get your oil changed, if it is dark in color, you'll want to change the brake system sooner rather than later.
