“Gardening is a joyous way to live”

This home produce garden and motto belong to Mimi Hedl, who has been a member of Seed Savers Exchange for over 40 years. In the 1980s, Mimi moved her family to Missouri to live simply and escape the “rat race” of modern life. (Can you relate?) While creating her homestead, Mimi found community and support through the network of like-minded gardeners that form the Seed Savers Exchange community. Joining Seed Savers Exchange as a member allowed Mimi to get priority access to educational programming and networking opportunities, including conferences, workshops, virtual member meet-ups, and more.

Mimi believes that the most critical part of our mission is to "help people who don't have much to learn about gardening". With help from members like Mimi, Seed Savers Exchange can continue to provide low-cost and free educational materials, seed donation programs, and public access to its collection of seeds. Feel joy like Mimi, deepen your knowledge of gardening, and help protect biodiversity and heirloom seeds. Become a member today at http://bit.ly/GrowWithMembership.
