Join our partners from the San Diego Housing Commission for one of the last opportunities to enroll in the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) -- fast, reliable home internet service discounted and supported by the SANDAG - San Diego Association of Governments' Get Connected Program.

East Region Grandparents Raising Grandchildren and other Relative Caregivers are invited to connect with other caregivers and learn about valuable resources during a symposium hosted by the Department of Homeless Solutions and Equitable Communities.

The event will include workshops and drawings from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Saturday, February 24 at the Lemon Grove Community Center.

Climate storyteller Wanjiku Wawa Gatheru, founder of Black Girl Environmentalist, is on a mission to communicate the importance of making sure every voice is part of climate conversations and actions. Join us for an Evening with Wawa Gatheru as she presents Sustainability and Climate Resilience.

The San Diego Circuit Library partner event is hosted by San Diego County Library alongside San Diego Public Library, The UC San Diego Library, SDSU Library, California State University San Marcos Library and Copley Library at USD. The event is made possible through a grant sponsored by National Library of Medicine (NLM) to support All of Us Research.

Whether looking for a volunteer opportunity to use your favorite tools, or if you are in need of a little help with minor repairs for electronics, bicycles, or small appliances, San Diego FixIt Clinic's held throughout San Diego County Library branches, offer tons of opportunities -- including a clothing swap to exchange a bag or box of gently used clothing.

Volunteers are invited to open house at Fallbrook Branch Library, 5 p.m., Tuesday, September 5.

The first SDCL event, inviting guests to bring one item to repair, will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, September 12 at Spring Valley Library - SDCL.

Saturday events are from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Bonita-Sunnyside Branch Library on September 9; at Lakeside Library on September 23; and Fallbrook Branch Library on October 7.
