Hard at work putting the finishing touches on our 2023 Christmas program. It's going to be a great one! Come see us December 17th at Emmaus Road Lutheran Church 2185 Bristol Oxford Valley Riad Levittown, Pa. Concert starts at 7PM. Program includes: Twas the Night Before Christmas with Narrator, 12 Tunes of Christmas, O Come All Ye Faithful, All I Want for Christmas, Last Christmas, Grandnma Got Run Over by a Reindeer, Funky Do You Hear What I Hear, Silent Night .... to name a few

We are in need of 1 more trombonist or baritone musician to complete our ensemble. Please message us or email Lou at [email protected] if you are interested. We are currently working with the largest ensemble (8 trumpet, 5 horn, 5 baritone/ trombone and 2 tuba)we ever had and need just 1 more trombone to balance the group.

Second concert of the year is in the books. We really enjoyed playing for the residents of Elmwood Hills Health Care Center. What a great audience! Remember to come see us perform June 11th 7pm at the Emmaus Road Lutheran Church 2185 Bristol Oxford Valley Road in Levittown Pa.

Hey, trombone or baritone musicians, are you up for a challenge? Or did you play trombone or baritone at 1 time and would like to pick your instrument up again and get your chops back in shape? A Wing and a Prayer Brass Ensemble is looking for 1 more trombone or baritone performer. (more are welcomed) We have a fun and challenging book and a schedule that includes 7 performance thru the spring and summer. Rehearsals and performance are on Sunday evenings except 1 Tuesday evening June 6th performance at the Bristol twp pavilion. If you are interested pm or email Lou at [email protected]

First rehearsal of 2023 is tonight. Pack up your gear and head to Emmaus Road Lutheran Church 2185 Bristol Oxford Valley Road in Levittown Pa. Rehearsal begins at 6pm. Lots of new music to look at including " Kiss From A Rose", "Livin On A Prayer", "September", "Can't Take My Eyes Off You", "Here Comes The Sun" and "She Always A Woman" . It's going to be a fun year.

Ok, all you, Brass musicians, it's time to pick up your instrument again. A Wing and a Prayer Brass Ensemble has openings in all sections. Do you or did you play; trumpet, trombone, french horn, baritone, euphonium, trombone, or tuba? Well, it's time for you to come on out and join our fun performing group. We rehearse 3 Sunday Evenings a month and most of our performances are also on Sunday Evenings. We usually have 6 or 7 performances in the spring/ summer and 5 or 6 at Christmas time. We play a large variety of music from classical to today's pop.we work hard at rehearsal and have fun in performances. Interested? Contact Lou at [email protected] or reply to this post.

A child is born...

It was a wonderful concert last night. Thank you to all of our members for sharing your talent and for all you do. Thank you also to the great audience. Your singing was fabulous! Here are some pictures from the concert. Recordings of the concert are to come soon.

Our first Christmas concert is complete. It was our honor to perform for the heroes from our military!

Another great rehearsal last night. It's going to be a fun Christmas Concert season. Our performances are: 11/27/22 @ Delaware Valley Veterans Home, 12/2/22 @ Pennsbury Manor, 12/4/22 @ Woods School and12/11/22 @ Philadelphia Protestant Home. The best time to see us is at our own Concert at Emmaus Road @ 7pm on 12/18/22. Emmaus Road Lutheran is located at 2185 Bristol Oxford Valley Road in Levittown, Pa.

It's Christmas in July for A Wing and a Prayer!!! We start rehearsing our Christmas program tonight. It is going to be a very fun Christmas season with some NON traditional arrangements of some traditional Carols. Make sure you get to see us this year! We always have room for more performers in ALL sections, So if you are interested in joining our fun group message us for details. Rehearsals are 3 Sunday Evenings a month 6pm to 8pm. So if you are a seasoned pro, haven't picked up your horn in a while or you have only played your instrument for a little bit come on out and join us.There are no auditions you just need to have a desire to have fun and to look over your music once in a while at home.
