A COMMON QUESTION: "How often should I sharpen my Lawn Mower Blade?"

1- If you own a lawn mower for residential use, blades should be sharpened and balanced at least twice a season. Commercial landscapers sharpen there blades every week! The more grass you cut, the more often you'll need to get your blades sharpened.

2- If your once green lawn now has a yellow tint or the tips of your grass are "ragged" or brown looking, it's time to get them sharpened. (See picture attached to post)

3- When your lawn has an uneven cut or you find yourself making multiple passes over your lawn to mow missed patches. Remember you're not "tearing" your lawn, you're cutting it, so, it should be a nice smooth clean cut. :-)

Bent or badly chipped blades should be replaced immediately!
