When I first gave her a short/soft volume full set, her lashes looked a little sparse bc not every lash was healthy enough for an extension.

These results are AH-MAZING!! Can you believe this was only a 30 minute session? She was one of my winners from my December gifting tree for a quick laser lipo session. Every time I do a non-invasive procedure I get so excited to see the results! I mean just look 😍

First set of 2022 ✨ short volume.

My client came in for a removal + full set. She had very thin, short lashes and in certain areas the lash line was a little sparse. We took that canvas and did what we can to make some lash art 👩🏻‍🎨✨

I never apply a lash extension to anything that can jeopardize your natural lash health. That is always and will always be priority.

Just because the length is short does not mean less, if anything it’s the opposite 🤌🏽 you get more depth toward the lash line. 🔊

She went home and will continue to use to her lash serum to give her lashes that extra boost to flourish. 🌱✨

If your lash tech is lashing you and you feel a little discomfort or pain and she says “it’s normal” RUN, SIS. 🏃🏽‍♀️ 🚩

One of my favorite compliments when I’m done and my client says “I don’t even feel them!” It means I did my job right! Lol

Lash extensions are supposed to be pain free!

Red flags during appointment:
🚩if you feel tugging/poking of your lashes
🚩if you feel pain on your eyelids
🚩burning in your eyes

Red flags after appointment
🚩swollen eyelids
🚩you feel a heavy lash line
🚩itchy eyelids

BUT WHY DO THOSE THINGS HAPPEN?
1. Improper application
2. Too much glue
3. Too much weight (lash extensions are too heavy for clients natural lash)
4. Client is having an allergic reaction

If any of the above have happened to you and they say it’s normal… drop your lash artist and come see me 🤪 lol jk.

In all seriousness though, please be thorough before choosing your lash artist. Don’t necessarily go the “cheap” route… I mean it is your eye area that is being serviced after all! 👁🪄

This year, DVLS will be donating $10.00 from each service to go toward blankets, toys and food for all the fur babies at Mazie’s Mission!

Mazie’s Mission is simple - animal rescue. They focus on establishing a world class hospital and sanctuary for animals looking for their furever home.

I hold this one sooo close to my heart because they gave me the opportunity to foster not one but two beautiful puppies and thanks to them BB is still with us. 🤍

So how can you be a part of bringing holiday cheer to some of our four legged friends?

I have FOUR different ways you can donate, even if you are not getting a service w DVLS you can still be a part of it!

1. Bring an item - toy, blanket, food, etc with you on the day of your appointment and $10.00 will be taken off your entire service.
2. Drop off/pick up - if you are not getting a service this month but would like to donate an item/s you can send me a message and we can schedule a time/place for pick up or drop off!

One of my Snapchat memories from a year ago today was me complaining about my day job… I remember enrolling into in May 2019 and just thinking “This is the first step. Get my hours, get my license and quit my day job”

Unfortunately things were not that simple. If only, right? Lol I had to wait a whole year from graduation to obtain my license, because of Covid… then the worst happened, because of Covid(again), coping with family loss and then the major TX snowstorm.

I couldn’t quit my day job… & I could not see the light at the end of the tunnel.

It took a sh*t ton of patience (many tears in between) and 2 years from my graduation date to finally pursue lashing full time… as I’m sure some of you can relate, there is so much that goes on behind the scenes that we don’t talk about… & it’s never easy, but it’s always worth waiting and working hard for. 🤍
