The IRS has started releasing the
PATH act and the 1st batch of refunds with Earned Income Credit will be released next Wednesday, Feb 22nd.
If you do not have a refund date yet please be patient, the IRS is still processing returns. Despite the day you filed, the IRS processes returns randomly.
Unfortunately I do not receive any updates after submitting. If the IRS requests additional information they will mail you a letter directly, again the Tax Professional does not receive notification. The IRS is encouraging everyone to create an account, as they are cracking down on Fraud and Identity Theft.
I do not have access to the IRS system if you're needing an update on your refund and www.irs.gov website does not suffice please call the IRS directly.
Also as a reminder you're able to check out your Online Tax Account at IRS.gov for wage & income transcripts, past year transcripts, balance in your account and more...set it up today so you have all your info at your finger tips.
