Brian Solis masterfully identified 6 stages of HR digital transformation in a blog post from AIHR | Academy to Innovate HR. 🙌

⚡ Here’s our take on every checkpoint:

1️⃣ Business as usual - everybody is casual about the current state of HR’s digital transformation, but they’re in for a rude awakening. In 2023 it’s impossible to deny the necessity for change.

2️⃣ Present and active - the digital transformation is in an infancy stage, with HR professionals being encouraged to use new technologies. True stewards of HR self-initiate search for solutions that would solve their everyday challenges.

3️⃣ Formalized - there’s a formal plea for digital transformation and the metamorphosis may begin. The stronger the incentive of the board, the swifter the transformation.

4️⃣ Strategic - HR teams are in the trenches, conducting surveys and mapping out pools of employee data. Teams with adopted survey/feedback tools and practices will have an edge. Others will have to spend considerably more time and effort to get a clear picture of their employee satisfaction.

5️⃣ Converged - there’s a dedicated digital transformation team spearheading the process. Working with a vendor that goes above and beyond to understand the technical and cultural demands of the org will make or break the project.

6️⃣ Innovative and adaptive - digital transformation is the new status quo of the organization. It’s a continuous process but has a culture to support it.
