Recently, Texas Rustlers stepped in to help an overwhelmed local city animal shelter with 20 guinea pigs. Every one of them arrived with parasites, infections, and dental problems—and several of the females were pregnant. They’ve since given birth to 8 adorable babies under our care! 🥰

These guinea pigs were in desperate need of medical attention and a safe place to thrive. Thanks to our team, they’re on the road to recovery, but the cost of treating so many animals is significant.

💚 Lord Randall was found running loose on a greenbelt, scared and alone. Thanks to some quick-thinking Good Samaritans, this little adventurer was brought safely to Texas Rustlers.

💔 Guinea pigs like Lord Randall don’t survive long outdoors, where they face predators, starvation, and harsh conditions. But now, he’s safe, warm, and thriving under our care. 🙌

🐰❤️ Not every animal that comes to Texas Rustlers is adoptable, but that doesn’t mean they’re any less deserving of love. Brownie, a tiny bunny who came to us via Carrollton West Pet Hospital, will live with lifelong dental problems that make him unadoptable. 😔

But thanks to our rescue, Brownie has found his forever home with a dedicated foster family. Texas Rustlers will cover all of his veterinary bills for life, ensuring that he gets the care he needs. 💚

Happy Mother’s Day! Far too often, the small furries that wind up in our care arrive pregnant. Did you know that we can help you determine the gender of your piggies? Don’t trust the pet stores to tell you because they don’t usually know how to s*x a piggy accurately & we end up with unwanted babies like all of these rescue alums. How cute are these hamsters? They are young and easy to handle. Potential adopters can fill out the app online. We have around 10 hamsters (at the moment) some single, some in pairs. They all are this charcoal black, some have white feet.
