This weekend was definitely a success for STS and Featherlite Trailers at the Daytona 500. Together we were able to keep all four racing series up and running. While STS Mobile Service was taking care of our Supermotocross Customers our team at the shop were busy themselves keeping PGA, NHRA, Indy Car and NASCAR teams up and running.

It is always fun to get to catch up with our Supermotocross customers when they are in town. STS Mobile Service has been on site for three days in Charlotte, NC making sure these teams are up and running for this event.

A successful Technician will have strong attention to detail, be self-motivated and well-versed in all maintenance and repairs.

Pay is based on experience. Full-time associates are offered health insurance and paid time off after 90 days of employment.

We just wrapped up a commercial kitchen project for the Fraternal Order of the Police. We completely gutted the transporter, added a commercial kitchen, bathroom and updated the office. This transporter will now be driven to disaster areas to feed first responders.

Essential Job Functions:

• Provide and document complete diagnostic test and repair or replacement services

• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliance maintenance

• Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements

• Keep supervisor appraised of work progress

• Ensure that the final work product meets quality standards and is inspected by supervisor or designee

• Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers

• Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned

Essential Job Skills:

• Certification from college or technical school in trade field (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Maintenance, etc.) is certainly helpful but, we also consider applicable work experience

• Minimum 1 year service technician experience or related fields preferred

• Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bending

• May lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistive devices

• Potential exposure to heights and hazards related to working with electrical and welding equipment

• Possible exposure to environmental conditions include heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust and wetness

• Must furnish own hand/shop tools

• Valid driver's license
