Many cultures celebrate summer solstice every year, and it's often referred to in the ever popular Farmers Almanac used by gardeners and farmers across the US.

While it's the longest day of the year those in the Northern Hemisphere, it's the shortest day of the year for those in the southern hemisphere.

Summer Solstice does not fall on the same day each year because it's based on when the sun reaches the midpoint of the sky by noon. It falls between June 20 and June 22.

A little bit about me :)

I realized i forgot to post a photo when i made my other intro post.

Im hylarii, owner, and curator of this magical space. I'm a mother of 6, gardener, bee keeper, adventure enthusiast, foodie, self-proclaimed car karaoke champ, and much more.

Thank you for being here, and I hope you stick around.

Many of you ask me how I started on this journey and I guess it started a long time ago, on camping trips with my grandpa, four wheeler rides through the creeks with my cousins and roadside stops to the big agate bins where you get to fill your tiny bag with your favorite rocks. I've always been a collector of nature, pine cones, sticks, rocks, you name it.

These stones are memories for me. Part of my childhood sparkle that never quite died out......I'm thankful for that.

Did I ever dream of having my own crystal shop?

It wasn't on my bingo card, but life had other plans. Plans beyond my wildest dreams, plans i'm thankful I had the courage to follow because I'm exactly where I'm meant to be.

So, with all that being said, you'll notice my content isn't strictly about things I sell. It's about being human, my hobbies, my life, and so much more. I was blessed with the opportunity to build this community here, and I hope you join me along the way!
