Good day at the ball park. Beat #1 seed in the first game but couldn’t get any breaks in the the championship game. 2 fall tournaments, 2nd place twice. Kids competed, new kids fitting in. I like our team.

Our team store is now open. It will run through 10/10 then close to send out orders. The store will be open the first 2 weeks of every month then close to get orders out. The orders will ship directly to your house.

First tournament with our new team and the boys took runner-up in the USSSA Bluegrass State Games. The new kids are a great addition to our team and we are excited to see what these boys will do!

Great day for baseball! Couple rough innings but went 1-1 and 1 seed in our pool. Good effort and attitudes today. Love the fight.

Thank you to all of the young men who came to try-out for our KBA13U teams this year. Please be patient as we work through this process as we had an amazing group of kids to evaluate and choose from. We should be posting our new 23/24 roster by the end of this week.

These 4 boys all filled in with KBA Prime 12U Norris this weekend. Jaykeb, Miguel and Grant were chosen MVP by the opposing team for pitching in 3 separate games and Landon, Miguel and Grant all hit homeruns! So proud of their growth this season!

What an exciting end to the season our team had. We came up short in our PG World Series Championship game against a great team from California. We had a total of 9 homeruns hit by 5 different players. A couple hitting their first ones this season. Long day today at the the ballpark in the USSSA Travel Baseball Championships. Spent 10 hours in Louisville and came home with the finalist hardware! Awesome win for our team going 4-0 on the weekend. It was a battle of the pitchers with Jayke McCoun having 8 strikeouts and only allowing 1 run in the semi-final and Miguel Favela striking out 6 and only allowing 2 runs in the Finals! Stole this from another travel ball post, but great advice!

People please listen to this advice before joining any team.
Go to a practice or a game and watch the kids, coaches and parents you want to tryout for in action.
Align yourself with the people who are equally yoked with you and your kids.
Put your values first. Example: if the coaches or parents are dropping f bombs left and right in front of kids and breaking down a kids spirit for every little error and you don’t raise your kids like that, that’s not where you want to be.
You’ll be looking for another team soon.
Come out and tell the coach your expectations and see what he says.
If you want your kid to learn, grow and love the game of baseball more than winning a $5 ring, find that team. There are a few of them out there.

If you want to win a $5 ring at all cost no matter what your kid is exposed to, go join that team. There’s plenty of those out there believe me!

This is hard to do if all you do is listen to a coach SAY they want to develop kids and have fun, just to get talent on their team. Then you see the true colors of the coaches after the first game.

Just my thoughts on getting in the travel ball scene.

The boys had alot of fun together in Owensboro this weekend. Win or lose, the friendships they are making is what they will remember!
