Thought I'd share. Cute story...
Recently we were in Sally's Beauty Supply getting some stuff for Mason's sister. While we were there, a lady was carrying around a container of Mason's Crickets with her. Mason was looking at the lady with the crickets and she asked if he wanted to see them. He told her that he had seen them before, he appreciated her business & he was Mason. She didn't realize "who" Mason was. ❤️

This is Mason. (He cleans up well when not playing in the dirt/woods, handling bugs/frogs/gross stuff & being a typical 100mph sweaty boy.) 🙂

One of Mason's homemade signs at one of the stores was damaged (looks like it got kicked). So.....we have new ones coming. I probably laughed at the cute chicken in the corner more than I should have. 🤣

Today Mason delivered donations from the foodraiser to Carolina Wildlife Center.

Thank you! We sent out a call for help and you responded with great kindness and generosity! We truly appreciate everyone who has donated worms, insects, and funds during this time of need. Because of you, our baby and adult birds, turtles, and bats now have the precious protein sources they need to help them recover and grow. CWC supporters are simply the best!

The enterprising young man pictured below with our sweet Petunia the box turtle and staff member Cynthia is one of these wonderful supporters! Mason of Mason's Bait LLC brought us a variety of his bait & live feeder worms and insects because, as his business card says, Mason understands that "...a variety of living things love to have a snack!"

Thanks to those of you that tagged us/contacted us regarding the local rescue that needed some help. Mason made a special delivery today and donated some Superworms, Giant mealworms, Dubias, Crickets, Night Crawlers, baby night crawlers, Redworms, Regular Mealworms, BFL & Waxworms. When we return from vacation, we may see what more we can do to make sure the birds & everything else has a constant supply of food so they are not in this situation again. Mason was happy to see a little turtle while he was there. 🐢🙂
Please consider checking out Carolina Wildlife Center (they are local) and help if able/possible. Super friendly/caring people that are doing so much and need assistance. Was good to see/hear so many folks reaching out to try and help. 🖤🐦🐢
