Fiber Optics: Many Visions of Fiber Arts is now open in our Community Gallery!
The exhibition reflects the diversity of work that Guild members produce with examples of Fiber Guild members' work in quilting, weaving, fabric collage, rug hooking, and felting. Some items have recognizable subject matter, while other works are exploratory. You'll find traditional techniques as well as the work for those pushing the boundaries.

The Fiber Guild of Lexington, incorporated in 1980 as a group of textile enthusiasts un 1980 as a group of textile enthusiasts who work with multiple techniques. Some of the members are professionals who teach, sell, and exhibit their work around the world. Others pursue different fiber arts for their personal enjoyment. The Guild sponsors workshops and organizes exhibitions.

On Saturday, December 16th, I will be painting at The Athenaeum Gallery from 1pm to 3pm in the midst of the National Treasures Collection. If you have not visited the exhibit yet, this will be a great time to stop by.

RIP Private Dancer. Saw the 50th Anniversary tour at the Verizon Center in DC in 08 or 09. We were nowhere near the stage but it didn't matter. She lit the place up for 3 hours, the first half in high heels and non-stop dancing. Simply the Best!

Mayfest Arts Fair Presented by Central Bank Mayfest is a juried art fair with a focus on a casual, family-friendly atmosphere. Included are up to 100 Artist Vendors, performances by musicians, dancers, strolling performers, food concession vendors, and family activities. Attendance at the two-day event averages 25,000.
