She has been an alumni member since 2019 and held a Theta Epsilon Alumni Association (TEAA) chair position from 2020-2022. Additionally, she served a year on the NCDAA social committee (2021) and now serves as the director of history and traditions for the TEAA. Check out our feature on the UK School of Musicโs page!
Want to learn more about UK's music fraternities and sororities? Here's the first feature with Kappa Kappa Psi Theta Epsilon! We asked Chapter President, Bryce Burgoyne, a few questions:
๐ตWho can join?
Our chapter has both music and non-music majors that participate in the UK Bands. A lot of our chapter members come from the Marching Band since non-music majors can join the chapter.
๐ตWhat kind of events are organized?
We mainly hold Service Events that help the UK Bands operate smoothly, for example, this summer Theta Epsilon got together to help clean brass instruments to save costs for WMB. We have also recently started holding events that allow for those in the UK Bands to get closer with one another. These events include UK Football Watch Parties and a UK Club Hockey Pep Band.
๐ตAnything else students should know?
If you are at all interested in learning more about our chapter, we have a board in front of the Band Office (FA 33) that has information about who we are and what we do!
Make sure to check out their upcoming recruitment events this month ๐ธ
