Back-to-school season is the busiest time of year for a kid's hair salon! To make sure all of our little sharks are first-day photo-ready 📸, we will be extending our hours ⏰ from August 3rd until August 5th!
We'll be back to our regular salon hours on Tuesday, August 6th.

Our Story

So what made us want to start a Sharkey's Cuts for Kids in Lexington, SC 📷

Well to be honest, we had always dreamed of owning a successful business and giving back to the community, so in 2017 we decided to take a leap of faith and join the Sharkey's Cuts for Kids franchise.

As parents ourselves, we loved that Sharkey's Cuts focuses on giving kids and parents a fun, affordable and memorable haircut experience in a nice, fun and clean salon atmosphere that is best-in-class. 📷

I, Jennifer, grew up in Florence, SC and moved to the Columbia area when I turned 18 to start college where I received my bachelor's degree in business. After several years of working in a large corporation I decided to go to cosmetology school at night, and have been a licensed cosmetologist for over 12 years. Took some time off to become a stay at home mom, and 6 years later was employed as a cosmetologist at Sharkey's Cuts for Kids - Lexington, SC.

My husband Tim is a Navy veteran, has a bachelor's in business and currently works in the power industry. We both enjoy hiking, rock climbing and going on family adventures to travel the world.

Our family currently resides in Lexington and we have lived here for over 7 years! #almostlocals 📷

We have 2 daughters who go to school at Pleasant Hill Elementary, who amaze us every day and we couldn't be more proud of them.

And that's pretty much us!
