Last day at the North Carolina Gang Investigation Association (NCGIA)Conference today. We made lots of great contacts and sales. We are honored when we get the opportunity to support law enforcement and as a bonus they help support us as well.

We will be vendors at the North Carolina Gang Investigators Association Conference next week. There will be most of the 3 letter abbreviated federal agency's present along with NC, SC, and VA agency's present. Wish us luck. We're expecting to get a lot of orders.

I just saw Davidson County Sheriff Richie Simmons commercial about sanctuary cities. I'd hate to lose him as Sheriff but I believe if he was running for governor he would get my vote.

Day 2 at the NCASRO convention was even better than yesterday. # BLESSED. We were invited to the Gangs across the Carolinas gangs and violent crime conference in August. A multi agency task force. We're more than eager to attend.

We're vendors at the 30th annual North Carolina Association School Resource Officers convention this week. There are about 590 of North Carolinas finest in attendance. Our first day was a great success and looking forward to the rest of the week.

On May 23rd, 2024, Detectives with the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office T.R.A.C.E. Team, assigned to the Special Investigations Division arrested Michael Paul Charles of Lexington after several weeks of evading law enforcement. On April 23, 2024 Charles fled from Detectives on a Motorcycle in the area of Linwood Southmont Road during a traffic stop. Warrants were issued for Charles who has been evading arrest over the last several weeks but was captured at a residence on Riverview Court in Lexington. During the arrest Charles was also found in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. He was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, felony fleeing to elude arrest, reckless driving, speeding, unsafe passing and following to close. The motorcycle was located and seized under the provisions of “Run Your Done”. Charles is scheduled to appear in Lexington Court on May 24, 2024.

In June Spartan Tactical Holsters will be attending a SRO(school resource officer) convention in Concord NC. We are a vendor and will be giving away almost $600 worth of range and rifle bags. There's expected to be over 500 people counting SRO officers and vendors. We can't Thank our SRO officers across this nation enough for keeping our Schools safe. It's a job that's getting tougher everyday so just know some of us do appreciate the job you do.
