I am enjoying UK basketball like I have not enjoyed in 15 years. We at least have a guy on the sidelines that wants to actually be in Lexington, wants to talk to our media, wants to have a pep rally at his press conference. He is full of as much energy as a 3 year old. He is in full awe of the moment and it is not too big of a moment for the man. For a person not born in Kentucky he could be from Jenkins / Hazard / Mt Sterling / Lexington / Louisville / Etown and so forth. He is here because he wants, WANTS to be here. He wants the pressure, he WANTS the challenge. He might have been born in Omaha NE, but he has been a KENTUCKIAN since the mid 90's. He has brought his family here to be a part of what he cherishes most about this basketball career. I for one will think of Mark Pope as a KENTUCKIAN by the Grace of GOD, and GODS Grace allow us to share time with him. I hope he is here till he wants to retire and then I hope he lives out the rest of his life a Kentuckian. I also hope he wins 99.999% of his games, matches Wooden all by himself in NCAA championships and so forth.
If any of that happens or none of it happens we all need to remember, he might not have been born here but he sure did embrace this place, us fans, this team and university!

PoJo’s Pop Station
Good afternoon friends! Hope everyone is staying safe and at home. At least if you can stay at home that is! For the foreseeable future our hours at PoJo’s will be fluid. We will try to maintain our Wednesday and Saturday time slot from 3 PM to 6 PM. We will also try some pop up things on other days. That is as long as we are allowed. If the Governor asks us to stay in then we will do so. I hope this finds everyone safe and sound. Remember if you are at home with kids especially 8 to 15 year olds just take our a bag (if you have of normal size marshmallows) and start a marshmallow war. The sound when it hits them is fun and they will have a blast. Plus if you have dogs they will also get involved trying to procure some ammo for food.
Good Monday Morning (March 16th 2020) Coronavirus Update: PoJo’s Pop Station will be open for a couple of hours this afternoon (probably noon till 2pm or so) and will close at that time thru Wednesday March 18th 2020. On March 18 (this Wednesday) I (Kirk Belcher) will be at the store for a little while working on our new shortened operation of Pick Up Service and Delivery Service. We will not be doing pretzels or Chili dogs during the Coronavirus closings. We will have our gourmet popcorn / caramel & cheddar popcorns available along with a few extra flavors: maybe one just for this sad occasion. Please keep us in mind if you are at home wanting some delicious snacks.

It was a wonderful Christmas Holiday. Time with family and friends. Getting to meet and see all the folks that graced us with a visit at The Summit over the holidays was awesome. We cannot tell you or show you how much it meant to us that you took the time to stop by and get some holiday gifts from us.
Now on to the new year! We added Cinnamon Rolls and Chocolate Chip Cookies (usually on Saturday) since moving in at The Barn back in October. We have now added Pretzels. We have Krakow Polish Pretzels and Bavarian Pretzels both salted and cinnamon sugar. Now we are adding Stadium Hot-dogs, chili dogs and chips along with made to order Pretzel dogs (takes about 10 to 15 minutes). We have beer cheese for dipping, cheddar cheese sauce, a variety of mustard's, relish and so forth. Stop by for a quality dog to go with a beer from Whiskey Bear. Maybe some beer cheese popcorn or chips to go with your dog. Then you can get some caramel corn or fudge for your sweet tooth.
