HVAC SERVICE TECHNICIAN

ABOUT THE JOB:

We are always looking for honest, friendly, hard-working HVAC service technicians to join our team!

We are currently seeking a more experienced HVAC service technician to help service our Austin area customers who wants to join our team, who reflects our values, who is able and willing to run service calls and looking for an opportunity to advance their career.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

SERVICE: Run service calls in a timely manner to properly diagnose and repair equipment for residential and light commercial heating and air conditioning systems while providing top of the line customer service

INSTALL: Replace defective equipment, which includes condensers, electrical components, motors, compressors, circuit boards, t-stats, etc as needed.

MAINTENANCE: Perform routine preventative maintenance, properly check and record refrigerant pressures, charge units with refrigerant, perform leak checks, pull and clean coils, etc

SALES: Sell or turnover leads for equipment upgrades, club memberships and coil cleans when applicable

PAPERWORK: Will be responsible for communicating with the office to update jobs, prepare invoices, collect payment, etc

TRAINING: Attend company meetings and training sessions
Comply with all applicable standards, policies, and procedures especially those for safety

JOB REQUIREMENTS & EXPECTATIONS:

Minimum Experience: 3 years
Universal EPA Certified
Registered Technician with the State of Texas
High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required
NATE Certification preferred, but not required
HVAC certification or diploma preferred, but not required
Applicants required to undergo pre-employment drug screens and background checks
Must have basic and necessary tools of the trade
Must have valid drivers license and good driving record
Must have written and verbal communication skills
Must be knowledgeable and confident but always willing to learn
Must be physically capable of performing the work required
Must be professional, honest, and respectful
Must be willing and able to work with a team
Must be willing and able to work hard
Must be willing to work extended hours during busy seasons if needed
Shift Needed: Monday-Friday 8-5 (until completion of last job) / On-Call Rotations for Weekends and Emergencies
