This is a foundational sequence in MELT we will learn in the intro class and is so key!
If lying on the MELT Soft Foam Roller is uncomfortable for this move, the MELT Half Soft Roller gives you a great alternative!
I buy in bulk or you can shop here: https://meltmethod.com/?rfsn=6612305.ba03c4f&utm_source=refersion&utm_medium=affiliate&utm_campaign=6612305.ba03c4f
I promise this roller will change your body. It's the only roller I've recommended to clients for years, andI've gotten great feedback and seen it create lasting changes.
I placed a bulk order and have a few unclaimed rollers. Who wants to try it?
The MELT Soft Foam Roller is the only roller developed for the techniques of the MELT Method. MELT gently rehydrates connective tissue, rebalances the nervous system, promotes healing, reduces inflammation, decompresses the neck and low back, improves core stability, mobilizes joints, stimulates organ function, increases flexibility, and much more.
The latex-free roller is 36 inches long and 5 inches across.
Upcoming workshops in June: https://hgstudios.club/zen-workshops
You have to experience this firsthand to know how much better your body can feel.
You may not even realize how stuck stress in your connective tissue is restricting your movement and causing other seemingly unrelated symptoms.
It can also lead to those "I just bent over and my back went out" or "My plantar fasciitis keeps coming back"
Intro classes teach the foundational moves used in almost every MELT class.
UPCOMING CLASSES:
Intro: June 21
3 week workshop: learn to assess and treat areas all over the body for imbalance and stuck stress June 28, July 5, July 12

I am doing this challenge starting May 15th! ✌️✌️✌️
Sorry for the late notice, I just found out about it and need this! I thought you might need it too! They may close the group soon so hop on if you want to join!
Who wants to join me?
I am part of an incredible group that has all the details led by an RN (she’s an expert on all things lymphatic system!)
There will be videos and posts with exactly what to do. There’s a specific list of a few essential oils, massage oils, and skin brush that makes this the most effective.
I’ll send you the list and an easy link to order and the link for the fb group.
I’ve heard great things from friends who have done this in the past!

Why should you join me in this???
There are several tell tale signs that lymphatic fluid is not moving effectively and that toxins are building up in your body:
• Bloating
• Swelling in your fingers/rings fitting more tightly
• Brain fog
• Digestive issues
• Parasites
• Depression
• Sinus infections
• Skin problems/dry and or itchy skin
• Enlarged lymph nodes
• Chronic fatigue
• Feeling sore or stiff when you wake up in the morning
• Unexplained injuries
• Excess weight
• Cold hands and feet
• Constipation
• Worsened allergies
• Food sensitivities
• Increased colds and flu

See why it is important?! Maybe you should join me! Message me for the links to join!

I'm seeing an uptick in runners (and walkers) and all kinds of shin issues. In less than 3 minutes you can prepare your shins for a run or offer relief with hydration and prevent issues.
If you have active shin splints or pain, I recommend the foot treatment and I have modifications for the shin technique.
PS - this is great for equestrians, too, who have to keep "heels down" for extended periods.
A few spots left in my MELT Intro class next Wednesday evening 5/4 at the Pilates PT. Learn the foundational moves in this simple self-treatment to prevent and eliminate chronic pain and erase the negative effects of aging.
What it's NOT:
* a roller class
* releasing trigger points or stretching muscles
* something that will take hours a week
* a replacement for exercise or chiropractic/bodywork but it sure helps!
IT FEELS GOOD!
Here's a little video to give you an idea of some of the things you can do...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q5t96PG8sa8

What is MELT MELT Method classes with MELT Level 2 certified trainer, Mary SlightIG: [email protected]
I've had a few requests so thought I would use it I out there...
What's so special about the MELT roller?
The density of the MELT roller is critical to self-treat the systems of the body MELT directly affects.
We don't use a hard roller for MELTing.
With too much compression the fascia can actually resist to protect the stuff underneath (nerves, blood vessels, lymph system...) especially in the superficial fascia.
Big bonus - it feels good so you will actually do it!
I often get asked if these are reflexology points. Nope, the points are based on myofascial meridians. When you do position point pressing when practicing the MELT foot treatment, you're:
1) helping the brain figure out the position of the joints in your body
2) stimulating those myofascial meridians
3) affecting way more than just your feet - your ankles, knees, and even low back
Here's how the method's creator, Sue Hitzmann, put it: The position point pressing technique mobilizes the joints of the feet but also stimulates the myofascial meridians that create seamless connections from head to toes and fingers. When you MELT, you stimulate the connective tissue cells (not to mention your muscles and bones) but you also wake up the aspects of your nervous system that allow you to sense and feel your body while quieting down the stress levels.
Many people are surprised at how tender their hands and feet are, which is a sign of autopilot inefficiency and cellular dehydration.
If you have only a few minutes in a day for some self-care, the foot treatment is so important and can make such transformational changes that it's the one you should do.
Can you come home with me?
As a massage therapist I received that question all the time, because people wanted their body to feel that good every day. I wanted to say ‘YES!’, and now, in a way, I can.
The MELT method is simple, quick, and feels good. I’ve seen it help people get out and stay out of pain. Back pain, arthritis, plantar fasciitis, and everyday aches and pains are some of the things that can be helped.
It’s a method I learned about years ago, and finally had the time (thank you COVID) to take the intensive training to get certified as an instructor.
I have all kinds of plans and love answering questions and collaborating! Watch this space or let’s talk. (I will warn you, I can talk for days about connective tissue and neurofascia.
