The Reading Whisperer offers individual and small group sessions to guide young readers. 50 minute individual or 50 minute small group sessions are available during the summer on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Individual Sessions

Children can get individual attention by signing up for a 50 minute private sessions. Small Group Sessions

Small group 50 minute sessions are conducted on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays during June and July

My experience and dedication have resulted in student academic excellence year after year. Just this year over 87% of my class of three to six year old students were reading before year’s end. I’m an energetic educator achieving positive results and cultivating relationships with students that last into their adult lives. I’m proud of the environments I create that encourage and nurture mutual respect, a love of learning and attaining individual achievement within a group. A key element to my success is my keen awareness of each individual child’s learning style and their very specific progress to-date. This helps shape a carefully customized approach and plan for each child’s individual progress and for the group as a whole. Families who trust me with their child’s education know there will be an active pursuit of academic excellence alongside social and emotional growth and fun. I hold my dedication to the Montessori community dear. I co-created and presented to my school's staff, a new system for tracking and recording children's progress. I have written and presented a formula for documenting and writing report comments for student evaluations. Based on my student’s outstanding success, I have written and present to other Montessori teachers a progression of lessons for teaching children to read. Working closely with a number of Montessori leaders, we are exploring together how to apply Montessori to those living with Alzheimer's and Dementia, implementing the same respect for the individual. The Reading Whisperer

The Reading Whisperer reading program was created and designed to address the needs of young children's reading skills. Young students of The Reading Whisperer can benefit by learning a phonetic foundation for reading. There are programs for both beginning readers and advanced readers all designed to enhance their skills with a tested and fun approach. The Reading Whisperer offers proven pathways to reading success via individual or in small groups sessions. The Reading Whisperer is Peggy Coleman, a Montessori teacher with a long, successful history of guding the education and lives of young children in the LMV area.
