We are sad to let everyone know that little peanut passed away sometime between the 3-6am feeding. Turns out peanut was older than expected (can tell by the teeth) and very malnourished. We tried our best efforts and we knew it was a touch and go case. Foster parents did a great job, but sometimes we just can't control the sad outcome. Thank you everyone for donating towards Peanut's medical bill.
Update on Gio our senior fiv+ cat who had entropian surgery. He got stitches out today and was a super chill patient. Just laid there. This guy needs a purrmanent home. Cats can safely live with other FIV+ cats as long as there are no deep bite wounds. Gio is a lover not a fighter. Please share his picture to help him get adopted
FOSTER AND/OR ADOPTER WANTED!
There are beautiful dogs and then, there are Majestic dogs. Lycan, which is short for lycanthorpe, is the latter. He is an 18 months old Husky who was found as a stray and wound up at the Coral Springs Humane Unit. He has been there since June, waiting for his human to claim him and they never did. Lycan has the sweetest disposition. He is calm and loving, great with other dogs and everyone he meets. He has not been around cats or small children. His ideal adopter will take him on long walks; he’s great on a leash and is very social! He loves car rides and going on outings with the Humane Officers.
If you are interested in fostering and/or adopting Lycan, please fill out our application!

Picasso was rescued from inside a car engine compartment by the Coral Springs Humane Unit. He was all alone and had a easily treatable skin condition that made his little face and ears crusty.
Picasso adores playing with his foster friends and enjoys toys that let him showcase his playful side. Early on he was a little sassy boy but with his foster friends, he quickly learned his manners. He is now a loving lap kitten who plays nicely with everyone in the house. If you're looking for a loving companion who will bring joy and a touch of adventure to your life, Picasso would love to meet you!
Picasso is neutered, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested negative, f***l tested negative, dewormed and has all age appropriate vaccinations. He is litter box trained and is being fostered in Pompano Beach, FL.

VIRGINIA - Available for adoption!
You can apply for Virginia at www.ladyluckanimalrescue.org under the “Adopt/Foster” Tab. Virginia is a sweet tabby born around November 2023.
Virginia was adopted from a shelter via a pet store. Sadly, she was found seemingly abandoned, and while her microchip was registered, the owner never responded. We noticed she had a funny walk and took her to be examined to find out she had an old injury to her knee and a dislocated hip. The decision was made to amputate and give her the best option at a 100% recovery.
Despite everything she went through, Virginia is a bundle of affection and joy. This sweet girl loves cuddling up and soaking in all the kisses you can give. With a heart full of love and an endearing purr that resonates with warmth, this special cat brings comfort and happiness to everyone she meets. Her resilience and gentle nature make her a truly cherished companion and she is finally ready to find her forever home.
Virginia is spayed and microchip, she is FIV/FeLV tested negative, f***l tested negative, dewormed, and has all age appropriate vaccinations including rabies. She is litter box trained. Virginia is being fostered in Sunrise, FL.
For more information contact [email protected] or text 754-366-3669. You can apply at ladyluckanimalrescue.org under the “Adopt/Foster” Tab.

Today he was given his vaccinations to bring him UTD, as well as his preventatives and deworming. He will be getting neutered once we can get an appointment. HOSPICE HOME NEEDED 💔
It is with a heavy heart and tears in my eyes, that I make this desperate plea to find a Hospice Home for Bentley. This was not the plan.. this guy was supposed to the leave Coral Springs Humane Unit and find a wonderful family and live a great life for years to come. Unfortunately, when Bentley had his dental cleaning done at our vets office, they discovered a mass. Today the dreaded result came back that it is a malignant tumor. This particular type of tumor is aggressive and attacks lymph nodes and the lungs. It is not known how long Bentley has to live. If the cancer hasn’t spread, he could have up to a year. He is not showing any signs of distress and we are praying that he has several months ahead of him.
Every once in a while you meet a dog that just touches your soul in a way you cannot explain. Bentley is one of those dogs. He is just a kind, sweet soul. Humans have failed him for 10 years and he does not deserve to die in a shelter. He is great with other dogs, cats, kids and every human he meets. He deserves love, kindness and dignity for the time he has remaining.
If you can offer Bentley Hospice Care, please fill out our application 🙏🏻

Princess has been ADOPTED!! Sweet Princess was found as a stray in Pompano Beach by a very kind business owner who took her in and saw to it that she received veterinary care and he spared no expense. Princess is perhaps the sweetest, most loving little Yorkie that you could ever meet. At age 14, she found herself homeless and needed someone to love her. She is missing most of her teeth and her right eye is sadly shrunken into the socket; obviously from previous neglect. Princess is not going to win a beauty contest, but she did steal the heart of her adopter! We are truly grateful that Princess will have love and stability for the rest of her life. Happy Tails Sweet Girl! ❤️🐾
Wahoo is already adopted after only 2 days at by this nice lady. She lost her last doggie 6 months ago and decided to switch back to cats and Wahoo stole her heart
UPDATE ON SANDY! ❤️
Our sweet Sandy girl has been at her foster home with “Lisa the Amazing” for 19 days. In that short period of time, she has transformed from a shell of a canine into an actual happy and healthy dog! We took Sandy to the vet back in mid July thinking that she may have had trauma or Neurological issues, which were hindering her from chewing solid food. With A LOT of patience, persistence and know how, Lisa has successfully been able to get our girl to eat kibble and firm foods without issue. Sandy was found as a stray and we have no idea what she has endured, but what we do know, is that she is healing from the inside out. ❤️🩹 We are very thankful for her care.
She is also doing very well interacting with other dogs at the fosters home. We are so excited to see what the future holds for this girl! She will be getting spayed in a few weeks; she is not yet ready emotionally or physically for adoption.. but, she’s getting there! 🙌
First training session for Tilly and Sol with Angelo our “all star” puppy trainer! These two babies were found in a dumpster in Miami Beach, tossed away like trash. I’m so happy they are here; Happy and Playing❣️ This is the fun part of Rescue ❤️🐾
You can apply for Mick at www.ladyluckanimalrescue.org under the “Adopt/Foster” Tab. ❤️🐾
Mick is a cute ginger tabby male kitten born approximately October 6, 2023. Hi there, I’m Mick – who are you? I am the kinda fella that is curious about the world and wants to explore all of it. I investigate new sounds and am curious about doors and what’s on the other side. It takes quite a bit to frighten me – except for the vacuum. I am a firm believer in communication, and am also not afraid to tell you how I feel. If I am hungry or if I am looking for some love and want you to pet me, I will let you know.
When my foster mom found me, it was just my brother Vick and I. She asked us what we were doing under something she called a “car” in another thing she called a “driveway”. Anyway, Vick was too scared to come out, so I took the lead and checked her out. My foster dad brought us something to eat, and once he took a few steps back from the bowl I went over to eat. Vick was a scaredy kitten, but I was hungry. They kept feeding us, so eventually I got more comfortable. I was the first one to let my foster mom pet me. Before long we were scooped up and brought inside their home - out of the heat, rain, and away from traffic.
Most of my days are spent snoozing, but I love to play with my brother. Foster mom calls it the zoomies where we play tag over the whole house. We have a foster sister Sophie, who is an 80 lb doggy and a human foster brother that is just a little older than 2. Sophie and I like to play together. I pretend to swat at her and she play-lunges at me. Usually my foster mom or dad will stop us from playing since they are worried about her knowing her own strength, otherwise when I have had enough I will change my tone and move away from her. With my human foster brother, sometimes I let him pet me, but foster mom usually doesn’t let him do it for too long. Anytime he is too intense for me I just give us some space, and have never swiped at him.
Vick and I are really close, and looking for a loving home where hopefully we can stay together. We use the litter box and are pretty good about covering our business. If you are considering adding furry family to your existing family, we would love to meet you!

Vick is a cute ginger tabby male kitten born approximately October 6, 2023.Hi there, my name is Vick. I’m a shy guy who kinda likes to keep back and take in the whole scene. Once I see that everything is safe don’t be surprised if I just plop down in front of you so you can pet me until I fall asleep. In fact, I am a really big fan of sleep. Give me a windowsill, a folded blanket, a cardboard box – I am just an easy guy who would be grateful for a loving home.
When my foster mom found me, it was just my brother (Mick) and I. She asked us what we were doing under something she called a “car” in another thing she called her “driveway”. Anyway, I was too scared to come out and just hung back while Mick checked her out. My foster dad brought us something to eat, but I was still frightened. I ate when they weren’t looking and they kept feeding us, so eventually I got more comfortable. Before long we were scooped up and brought inside their home and out of the heat, rain, and away from the traffic.

We have a foster sister Sophie, who is an 80 lb doggy and a human foster brother that is just a little older than 2. Sophie is curious about me and aways comes sniffing around. I don’t mind if we hang out in the same area, but if she’s too hyper I just make my way to somewhere else so that I can go back to snoozing. With my human foster brother, sometimes he’s a little pushy with how he tries to love me. I find avoidance is my best bet if he tries to force me into a hug. I am proud to say that while sometimes he overwhelms me, I’ve never swiped at him.
Mick and I are really close, and looking for a loving home where hopefully we can stay together. We are fully vetted, neutered, and on flea meds. We use the litter box and are pretty good about covering our business. Our foster mom has supplies that she said we can take with us too! Yesterday we welcomed Sol and Tilly into the Lady Luck Animal Rescue Family. These two innocent babies were thrown away like trash into a dumpster in Miami Beach. Fortunately, a young girl passing the dumpster heard them cry and was able the retrieve them. She found a wonderful Attorney in the area who took them in and brought them to her friend who also fosters animals. Eventually, after reaching out to numerous rescues for help and being turned down, we were contacted. We just had to help! We were fortunate to find a wonderful new foster who was sympathetic to their story and also found a wonderful volunteer who transported them for us. These littles are safe now! They are being spoiled and well cared for. They will be fully vetted, Spayed/neutered and then available for adoption. Your donations toward their care is greatly appreciated! 🐾

Yesterday we went on the mission of picking up the 2 dogs tied outside of Pet Supermarket in Pompano. They were being taken care of by homeless people after their owner who was also homeless, overdosed and passed away. We were planning to board them while they got vetted and while we looked for a foster home, unfortunately they have kennel cough, so the vet couldn't board them, we called numerous vets and everyone told us no. So, they are being held in a temporary foster home with 4 other dogs in the meantime. If anyone can foster Xena (approx 5-6 months old) and or Dog (10 months old) pronounced D-o-gee, it will be a miracle for us. If you can't foster please donate towards their medical as they still need to get spayed and neutered, cherry eye surgery, and fully vetted.

Sunshine will be turning 3 this month and has spent at least two years in a rescue and temporary foster home. She does great in her foster home but is afraid of strangers which makes her not show well to adopters. Sunshine needs someone to take a leap of faith and believe that she be the purrfect companion after a couple of weeks hiding under the bed.
