Hey babes, it’s literally been 4.5 months since I’ve shown my face on here…we’ve been busy busy busy and so excited for baby boys arrival in just a few short weeks. With that being said…thank you all for your continued support. I have had so many of you reach out to check in, place orders or request custom orders and it still blows me away that you are choosing my business and family to support.

Prepping for my newest upcoming launch this week and cutting these labels has me all up in my feels.
One of my favorite details about my product has to be my custom labels. These may just look like denim patches to the eye but to me they are part of my history, and heart.
These jean patches come from my grandpa's closet who was a dairy farmer. With each patch I cut out a little piece of my heart goes with it. These are a 36x36 Wrangler relaxed fit and I source 60-70 patches from each pair.

There's just something about a sunrise.
College Liz would be impressed at just how far we've come since our 'daze' of sleeping in. While we were in Mexico, I got to see a few of the sunrises which were really inspiring for some of the upcoming projects that I have going on. Being on the beach is something that you can't really explain unless you're there. It's a very healing and humbling experience.
When my godmother passed away a few years ago, her favorite place was the ocean, so it was just really cool to go each morning and sit and wait for the sunrise and spend a little bit of time with her. She traveled to the ocean so many times in her life and always just said that was where she would heal.
It was a really cool experience to have and to be able to have that peace, quiet and meditation to get inspiration while I was there.
My intention lately has been to share with ya'll a little bit about where my latest inspiration for the new launch has came from. I hope that when launch day is here you can see the heart and thought that went it.

~ Finding Inspiration In New Places ~
I'm a firm believer that traveling not only is good for the soul but it's good for the mind, body and business. For me and being a creative, I find that my surroundings are a direct reflection of my work. A lot of times the places I go, people I'm with and the things that are happening in my world all come out in my designs and product.
I'd never been to really anywhere tropical before and I'd also never been anywhere all inclusive, and since I found out that I was expecting back in February, obviously with it being an all inclusive, I was super bummed that I wasn't going to get to possibly enjoy all the free drinks. And I know that that probably sounds silly to some, but to most, you will get it. But all jokes aside, I think I made up in eating the food.
When I think back to our tropical vaca and all those yummy fresh foods and fruit I started to find the inspiration in the colors I was grabbing to wear. It's like all those fresh fruits, flavorful "virgin" cocktails (sigh), and Lucious landscape started coming out in my wardrobe and the work I was styling.
Spring and Summer is all about refreshing new beginnings and life. Let your style showcase that.

Wedding Season is upon us folks!
Putting together custom pieces for brides or bridal parties is probably one of my favorite types of projects. I'm loving seeing everyone getting back out with their friends, traveling to fun places to celebrate the nuptials and loving on their girlfriends to support them at the Bach parties.
I've a lot of brides who think that they want something custom as well for the special occasions and, that may be one of the last things you think of.
I would love to start collaborating with you on what your dream wedding jacket or custom piece may be. I'm also offering packages for your bridesmaids, so if you are looking for something a little bit different, if you're having a country wedding, if you're having a wedding that has a color theme that you really want to stick with, let me know, let's get your bridesmaids some fun custom flannels.

My recent little escape to Mexico really inspired me to take full advantage of some beach wear. I really never have been on a super tropical vacation before, so this was an opportunity for me to just pull out all the fun, creative vibes and go to town.
To style myself before I left Nebraska, I picked a color palette. I went with some pastels and some bright ocean colors, and really embraced those all the way through.
So from head to toe, I was picking out pieces that were going to be pretty effortless. Which also meant I wasn't going to have to put on multiple different things for my outfit. I was able to take one very breezy and comfortable piece, and then accessorize, whether it be with a hat, jewelry, shoes, a belt. It really allowed me to be super versatile with the items that I was taking, but also pack pretty lightly.
If anyone knows me, they know that packing lightly is not something that I'm an expert at. My bags are usually completely overweight, and I end up having to shove a ton of my stuff in my carry on. Anyone else?

While I was in Arizona I took 1 whole day to run the streets with Zach's Grandma to hit the town thrifting. We got to spend some 1on1 time and she showed me all the amazing hidden thrift store gems and resale shops, hot spots and hole in the wall unique stores. No stone (or flannel) was left unturned.
Zach's Grandparents live in Sun City West and that's where we spent our time with them and if you haven't been there, let me paint the picture for you. It's a 55+ community and it has everything you could ever dream. A beautiful landscape, more golf carts running around than cars, 7 golf courses, and luxury and relaxation at its finest. WE LOVED IT! We were definitely the outcasts there with our Harley's but we fit in well by the end of the trip.
One of the things that's so amazing when those snow birds move to the desert is that they are often times cleaning out the closet realizing they don’t need to bundle up anymore and ditch those winter clothes that once packed their closet. You guys know what I hit the jackpot on? FLANNELS!!!! Between flannels, more amazing crew necks and sweatshirts to join our Lazy Daze collection, and some of the best tees I've snagged in a while I really ramped up the new Daze inventory that will be coming soon! I also found, belts, clutches and accessories for some of my styling clients and events I have coming up!
I did have a few funny looks with my overflowing cart full of winter clothes ( its was nearly 100 degrees the whole time ) but it was worth it.
Arizona, you were good to this thrift loving gal! Thanks for the great times.

Life lately has looked a lot like this and working from the road.
When I started my business I wanted it to become something that would allow me to not miss out on life's little moments and getting to spend time with my family. I also knew that in order for my business to keep growing, thriving, staying relevant and having the best products that spreading my wings and getting to travel and find new treasures was something I very much wanted and needed to do. The past few weeks I got to put my dream to the test.
Getting to travel with my family, thrifting for hidden treasures in new states and meeting new clients has been a literal dream. I came back from my adventures with more drive, passion and inspiration. It was just what my gypsy heart needed!

Took a little adventure to the south last week for Bike Week in Arizona and I'm coming back with so much inspiration!
I don't know about ya'll but getting out in nature, exploring and traveling are my top 3 ways I get my groove back and feel waves of inspiration that I'm always able to take back into my work with me.

Beach please! Did you really think I would go to Cancun without bringing any turquoise?!!!
Throwing some tips on how to style turquoise for the beach.
- Keep your rings and bracelets dainty with a few statement pieces throughout your wardrobe.
- Look for fun pastels and vibrant ocean colors including corals.
- Be inspired by the reef! You can dabble in anything from a beaded sunglasses chain for a small bit of sass, a statement ring and cuff to pair with your favorite swimsuit, or a squash blossom to wear at dinner.
Either way you’ll be sure to turn heads wearing turquoise near the ocean!
