30 years is a long time. Last night at Beatrice Speedway was our last show of the year. It also was the last official show for us as The Tow Crew. While we may show up and help at some shows throughout the following years, we will no longer be towing weekly at any track.

We would like to thank everyone who has ever been a member of the tow crew, each track that has allowed us to do what we do, the racers who have made us clean up their messes, the many officials, safety crews, push trucks, and other support personnel throughout the last 30 years. Special thanks to our home track for those 30 years, Eagle Raceway and their fans. Last, Thank You to Kevin Anderson and The Auto Connection for providing the trucks.

All this leads up to the reason for this post. As with any "last night" we had a final, last tow. As a crew, we decided we needed to do something for the last car we towed. Our "last tow" was awarded $200 cash and some of our sippin juice. Unfortunately the last car we towed off the track last night was th 36 of Jason Martin. Hope you didn't finish the jar last night.

We'll see everyone at various tracks next year. Be safe and don't make your local safety crews work too hard.

One final show for the season. Maybe the final show ever for the tow crew. Get down to Beatrice Speedway tonight to see a great show!

Whoever is our last tow of the night (our Final Tow) may get a surprise. ;-)

After 30 years, tomorrow night will be our last night as the Official Tow Crew of Eagle Raceway. Should be a great show.

ALSO, the last car we hook will get $200 from us as our "Final Tow" at Eagle Raceway.

The dust has settled, and we have all recovered from the 4 nights of racing that is the Racesaver Nationals. Each year at the Racesaver Nationals at Eagle Raceway, the members of The Tow Crew by Auto Connection pool some money together to award a "Frequent Flyer" to the driver that has some bad luck, amazing wrecks, or simply is on our hook a little too often. With the 2023 Nationals being our last year as the Official Tow Crew of Eagle Raceway, we felt we needed to up the award.

This year we awarded $1,500 in our own money along with a jar of our special blended moonshine. While we had a number of options for the "winner" of our award, we were quite busy over the weekend, we decided to give the award to someone who persevered each night.

It started with losing a rear end only a couple of laps in on practice night. Friday was more driveline problems for this Texas racer and then on Sunday during the initial feature, he slipped up and contacted another car sending him flipping and causing a bit of a mess for us to clean up. This year's "winner" of the 2023 Frequent Flyer Award is Heath Nestrick. Heath, we hope the $1,500 helps put things back together and that the mason jar helps take the sting out for you. Here's to seeing everyone next year!

And finally, saying goodbye after 30 years of faithful service to Eagle Raceway, we send an emotional thank you to the Auto Connection Tow Crew!! We can't thank you all enough for all you have done, and you will always be Eagle Raceway Family!!!

It's Day 1 of RaceSaver Nationals! Today is pre-technical inspection, practice and RaceJugs Race Of Champions Qualifying heat races.

In 2017 we the members of the Tow Crew decided to pool some of our personal money together and created an award for the Racesaver Nationals. The Frequent Flyer Award was born. It has grown from the original $370 to $1000 and a jar of sippin juice.

Former "winners" are Trevor Grossenbacher, Trey Burke, Daren Bolac, Orry Stephens, and Chip Graham.

Because this is our last year towing weekly at Eagle Raceway, we have decided to give the award for one more year. The 2023 Frequent Flyer Award will be $1500.

We look forward to seeing everyone the end of the month.

Good to see a series say they won't race without adequate safety in place. Sad to see that the racing will go on for the other weekly classes without an ambulance. Hopefully nobody gets hurt.

Here is the pre-registered list for IMCA Sprint Car RaceSaver Nationals as of today. RaceSaver Nationals is coming up quick. It is always Labor Day weekend (This years dates are Aug 31st-Sep 3rd). Just a reminder to drivers: If you want your same pit stall that you had last year, you must pre-register by August 1st. After August 5th, we will start giving un-renewed stalls away to those on the list that are wanting a reserved space for the weekend. We have word that severe weather is very likely in our area during race time tonight 06/10/23. We have decided to CANCEL tonight's event. The kid's color run will be rescheduled for a different date. We will see everyone next week.
