Martial Arts Olympics was fun! This is another big week at LKC! Dragons: Tuesday is stripe testing for your 2nd stripe. Ticket Tornado continues this week and then on Saturday we have the drawing for our winner. And, Saturday is the B2S party at 1pm. Finally, don't miss out on our B2S savings on retail! For 3 decades, the Lincoln Karate Clinic has provided exclusive lessons for children and their parents on how to avoid being a victim of child s*x abuse. We take this responsibility very seriously and in fact the training is a critical component of our martial arts curriculum.

No facility in the area does anything close to what we provide in true life self-defense for young people. Yes, we teach how to kick and punch but s*xual abuse prevention is mostly about knowledge and implementation of that knowledge and only at LKC do we really practice this, train on it and of course teach it.

Recently, all staff at LKC underwent their own training on s*xual abuse prevention with an additional emphasis on s*xual abuse in youth sports. As many of you know, even in the highest levels of competitions (Olympics) there have been horrifying cases of proven s*xual abuse of minors.

While we cannot prevent all occurance of s*xual abuse, we are striving to do our very best to insure that our students are protected, our staff is trained and that each student will learn how to be safe via their karate training at LKC!

Special thanks to Mr. Alan, Mr. Josh and Mr. Kohl for also taking the training and assessment and all receiving 100% scores on their tests!

Summer Belt testing.

It's a big week for karate students at Lincoln Karate clinic as they participate in testing and graduation. Please be aware that regular classes are not happening during this time. However, we still have sparring and Warriors on Thursday as usual. Good luck to all students as they continue their karate journey. Classes will resume on Saturday, the 29th, with the usual schedule.
