So let’s end all questions and rumors. I am in Canton-Potsdam hospital. I was sent here by ambulance for their great trauma unit. Yesterday while riding my mare she had done great in the arena. We were headed out to outside ring for trail objects and she spooked at something (I do plan on finding out what) and spun me out of saddle. I have 2 broken ribs and an air pocket by a rib. I’ve had 2 chest X-rays on the air pocket and am scheduled for a 3rd one today to see if it’s doing anything. When I fell I landed on driveway to arena which is stones instead of 6 inches further which would have been soft mud. I hope to be home later today. The horse is fine and I still love her. The dealings of a young horse.

We will be closing out the seaway festival with our petting zoo pony/horse rides on Sunday July 28 11:00/3:00pm at city property by Lighthouse point. Dac the donkey stormy the rideable mini freedom saved from kill pen 4 hours before slaughter and a whole bunch more will be there.

Another successful petting zoo in the books kids, parents, and animals all good today. Onto a horse show tomorrow. I’m already looking for monday.

Update on Dad: Hospital called today bloodwork from yesterday showed infection wanted to see him this morning. Results bone infection admitted to Claxton being transferred to Syracuse either today or tomorrow. This happened in 2001 had no knee for 30 days I took him to Syracuse Monday Wednesday ed and Friday for 6 weeks then they put this knee in. I really need 2024 to end. Please put him in your prayers he will be 96 August 1

My morning in pajamas cooking breakfast for dogs(there spoiled) go to call them they don’t come. I throw my Carhart boots on go out to get them lock myself out. Still in pajamas with Carhart boots on. Front door patio door locked breakfast still cooking on stove. Here smoke alarms going off no cell phone run to garage get tools mangled back door get in small fire in frying pan get that doused out. Go call dogs no dogs. Garage door open dogs gone. Call Karen HELP. Still in pajamas carharts jump in truck get little dog and secure her back at house come out front door big girl in yard won’t come to me. Walks up to goat pen which I’m cleaning out and after last nights rain not pretty (both are white dogs) I follow she goes into goat pen I run slam door. Go to barn get lead rope. Hour later dogs are secured. All in pajamas and carharts. Tomorrow morning they are eating dry dog food. Now in hot tub then to fix door. Everyone riding horses except me.
