Guests of the Wilbur Lititz can now get around Lititz on two wheels! We've been working with their management team to create an experience that includes bikes, GPS guidance, and an automated lock similar to our installation in Ephrata and Lititz along the WERT. Micro-mobility in towns of all sizes is a fast-growing trend across the globe, and hotels like the Wilbur are on the forefront of the providing the absolute best amenities for their guests. Soon this experience will expand to include electric-assist bikes as well. Thank you to the Wilbur, and everyone involved in yet another fantastic community effort.

The Warwick Ambulance Association is going green... on two wheels! With a little help from the Lancaster Bike Club grant program, this team of first responders is now able to reach people at events by bicycle, making them more effective than ever finding and helping people during crowded days like Craft Fest, Lititz Fire and Ice, and 4th of July. We equipped them with Specialized Globe Haul cargo e-bikes, outfitted with racks and bags custom designed for first-responders. These bikes have just about everything needed to get aid to people in crisis. And get used to seeing those bike uniforms as they will be wearing them around town on their bikes... we think they look great!

National ride-a-bike day is this Sunday, and you don't have to own a bike to participate. Signups for Learn-to-Ride clinics at Bikeworks are live! Spaces are limited to 10 kids per clinic, ages 4-12 so be sure to signup early. As a courtesy to others, please only sign your child up for one clinic. We need volunteers to help during these clinics, so if you want to do something that makes you feel good, call or email the shop and we will give you the skinny.

Learn-to-Ride 2024 - Lititz Bikeworks learn-to-ride kids clinics is an event designed to take the pressure of teaching your child off you and let our staff do it for you.

Congrats to the 2024 Bikeworks Basic Maintenance Class graduates! For the past 4 Saturdays, these individuals dedicated an hour of their time to learn how to properly change a flat tire, adjust brakes and derailleurs, as well as cleaning and lubrication. Today, they brought in their own bikes and put their newly acquired skills to the test.
