On October 28th, five seniors in EMU at Lancaster's aviation program traveled to the Flight Safety International facility in New Castle, Delaware. They received training in a highly sophisticated jet simulator as part of their Air Transport Advanced Subjects course.

Exciting afternoon for our most recent CNA Cohort! Today the students received their certificate of completion and participated in the “pinning” ceremony led by their dedicated teachers and our long-term care facility partners. We are also blessed to have Pastor Misty Winch who always supports our certificate ceremonies by offering words of encouragement and a prayer of blessing to our students. She currently pastors at East Petersburg Church of the Brethren.
We were honored to have students’ families and friends there to join in this celebratory ceremony.

A Bachelor's degree in Leadership and Organizational Management (LOM) with an Aviation Concentration prepares students to become professional pilots. We proudly spotlight our thriving Aviation Program, the expanding CNA program, and our Leadership and Organizational Management Program (Online Degree Completion). We also eagerly anticipate launching a Graduate Certificate and MA in Organizational Leadership next fall.

What a beautiful day to welcome Professor Emeritus Paul Zehr, who stopped by our new location in Lititz today! Dr. Zehr holds the unique distinction of being a long-time EMU professor without ever residing in Harrisonburg, VA. In the 1980s, he taught extension classes for Eastern Mennonite Seminary while simultaneously directing the pastoral training program for the Lancaster Mennonite Conference.

In 1989, Dr. Zehr played a pivotal role in establishing the EMU Lancaster program in Pennsylvania, where he served as its first director while also teaching courses.
