🎨 Here’s one we completed just a couple weeks ago. While bidding a job next door, this lady came over and asked about her porch and stairs.

They were in desperate need of a fresh coat of paint. We scraped off old, flaking paint, pressure washed everything, and gave it a fresh coat of a custom match Sherwin Williams.

Of course I neglected to take before pictures 🤦🏻‍♂️ enjoy the after picture!

Over the next week or so, I’ll catch you up on what we’ve been up to this last spring and summer.

We had the honor of being able to be apart of the awesome remodel at Rocky & Tara's Nut Haus. We did a lot of work here.

Sprayed flat black dryfall on the ceilings, painted windows, trim, hallways, doors, bathrooms, and more. If it could be painted, it pretty much was on this job.

I loved this job. Rocky and Tara and their team have become friends. That is what I love most about this job: the people I get to meet and interact with.

Most of you know me, some of you may not.

I’m Ronn Elliott. Those closest to me call me Ronnie. Feel free, I’d love it.

Earlier this year, I acquired the business from my dad, Bob Elliott, whom many of you have come to know and love (for his dedication to quality and his charisma).

I’ll bring more of the same. I’m a self proclaimed perfectionist, and I strive for quality. Above all of that though, I am honest. I want what’s best for you, the customer, and I won’t push you to do things you don’t need, ever.

A little bit about me:

🏠 I was born and raised in Appleton.

❤️ I have a beautiful wife of eight years, two crazy, exciting boys, and a dog. Above all else, they always come first.

🏫 I originally went to Michigan Tech for mechanical engineering, and after deciding that wasn’t for me, I went to Fox Valley Tech and graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Auto Body.

🏭 I worked in auto body for several years in various capacities, and most recently spent a total of about four years at Gulfstream as a cabinet finisher - finishing, painting, and fixing cabinets for some of the most prestigious aircraft in the world.

🚗 I have a variety of hobbies, but I enjoy just about anything that involves spending time with those closest to me. But, some of my hobbies include:

Racing, classic cars, spending time at my wife’s family cottage, spending time on the water, camping, tackling home improvement projects, and live music.

‼️We just finished this repaint up this week for some great friends‼️

🎨 We painted quite a bit of this home. We first patched holes and painted the garage, to make it nice, fresh, and clean. We painted the wood ledge, and the inside of the service doors as well.

Next, we painted two of the bedrooms and a bathroom.

And finally, we painted the downstairs great room a warm two tone combination, as well as the pillars. The connected bathroom was also painted.

This one had some wild colors in it, and the homeowner wanted to create a more neutral palette to make it more appealing on the market. We painted the majority of this home, with the exception of areas that had neutral colors, which in that case, we patched holes and touched them up.

Check out these cabinets from this week! This customer wanted to modernize her cabinets and bring some brightness to her small kitchen, as well as her vanities in her bathrooms. We love the way this turned out!

You can save a lot of money painting your cabinets versus replacing them, but prepwork is key in making the job last.

👀 These cabinets turned out beautiful! Unfortunately I didn’t grab a before photo, but these were classic golden oak cabinets, and this client wanted to bring some modern flair to her kitchen. She went with a beautiful olive green for the main cabinets, and a medium gray for the island, all topped off with brushed gold hardware (which we are awaiting the final batch of hardware to come in to fully complete this job)‼️

Cabinets like these take a lot of work and patience to get right, but when done correctly, last a lifetime.

🏠 We just finished up this BEAUTIFUL complete house this week!

We did everything in this house from spraying the walls and window jambs, to the woodwork.

Speaking of the woodwork, check out this GORGEOUS natural hickory throughout the house. The base trim, casing, doors, and handrails were all finished in a clear lacquer. The mantle was properly sealed to prevent that live edge from separating from the log later on.

💥 Before and After 💥

We just completed this one this week! This cedar siding was in desperate need of fresh stain. We blew it off with compressed air, scraped, caulked what was needed, and applied a couple coats of fresh solid stain. It’s ready for the elements again!

One of our favorite jobs ever: repainting The Family Radio Network radio station in Appleton. The most generous and gracious clients. We were fed, given candy, and cared for like family. Thank you!

We’re finishing up the last of our outdoor jobs for the year. Today we stained this railing in an espresso semi-solid stain.

GE Contracting LLC asked us to give their shop a facelift. Mismatched and outdated colors were the result of multiple additions and updates. The sides and back were painted SW Mega Greige to compliment the dark bronze colored soffit and fascia. The front brick was painted SW Sealskin to match the soffit and fascia, to really make that light colored stone pop💥, as well as the service doors and garage door.

What a beautiful day yesterday to be painting on the lake! The window trim on this lakefront cottage was color matched to the siding, and the client wanted it white to make it pop! What a difference!

We finished up this repaint today. This client wanted a fresh, crisp look. This was nearly an entire first floor repaint, including ceilings: foyer, living room, kitchen, laundry room, hallway, and master suite.

We had such a great time and my wife and I ran into Priscilla Block at the tavern before the show! She’s a blast.
