Individuals and families come to Oasis looking for housing support for many reasons including: unexpected job loss, unexpected health events, fire or flood, getting kicked out of a home, and fleeting domestic violence.

Oasis works with anyone regardless of their situation, helping to prevent individuals and families from having to live under bridges or in cars in our community.

Having available emergency housing in your community ensures that the children can stay in their school and have the support and stability of their teachers and classmates while their home lives are in crisis.

Oasis provides emergency housing in local hotels and temporary housing in a duplex. Kids served through Oasis can stay in school without transferring to new schools until their family finds housing again.

Your donations help ensure this important service can continue.

Most people who reach out to Oasis for help are in crisis and have multiple needs. While helping them find emergency shelter, Oasis also might provide a gas card, a hot meal, or personal care supplies. Once Oasis even provided a birthday party for a young child whose family lost their housing on his birthday.

Your donation means Oasis can continue helping people in crisis in our community.
