Kurt Moss was an interesting guy. A child prodigy on guitar and well liked, because of his quirky sense of life, Kurt was gentle soul.
He always would send me the music he was working on, and honestly some of it was so beyond me that it made me wonder what was going on in his mind. But some of it was everything that music should be, creative, passionate, and a little daring at times.
He was widely respected but I dont think his music was heard, or may never be heard, and I think that is the lesson he taught me...He created music because it was who he was, not because he was trying to impress anyone. That is the difference between being an artist or being a product.
I've been on youtube listening to Kurt's music. It will exist forever whether anyone else hears it or not, and that is just fine because it served it's purpose.
