Made some flowers at the home of Paul Guess and hung out with Miss Arkansas Cori Keller and Miss Arkansas Teen Allie Bell. Thanks to Paul for hosting the meet and greet with the Des Arc chamber of commerce.

Rehearsal dinner and Wedding florals Friday. Christmas demonstration at Guess and Company then fall florals for a party at Jeremy Carters house on Saturday…it was a busy weekend.

I made a fall arrangement at a client house last week. The client had a bronze container from Guess and Company, she also had a piece of art by Buddy Whitlock.

Early for Christmas, but I was asked to do floral demonstrations Guess and Company Christmas warehouse in Des Arc, AR (my hometown). I went for two different demos and had a great time.

Fun wedding we did a few weeks ago!

My friend, local artist Ed Holland painted this wonderful and colorful art. When I first saw it over a year ago, I asked Ed what it meant, he said “it is two people embracing, even though they are different.” I have been looking at it over and over the last week and thinking about how we should embrace one another, regardless of race, creed, religion or political party. I am so thankful that I was raised by parents who taught me to love and respect people even if they were “different” than myself. Ed Holland passed away a few weeks ago after a brief illness. I hope he is resting now in a place where there is no skin color, no social standing, a place where people are one and full of peace. 

Like most churches, Christ Episcopal LR is doing services online, but they wanted their alter to look as much like Easter as possible.

Amazing 34th anniversary flowers from my steadfast husband, Steve. He gave them to me on Saturday, an emotional day of concern over what may become of the business we have worked so hard to build. But, as is my nature, I am forging full (well, maybe 3/4) steam ahead. My mental gears always turning, playing through scenarios and options. We'll do our very best to ride this out, and we'll be so happy to see you when it's time.
This arrangment is extra special because it was artfully and lovingly executed by our friend of ! Even though White Goat is closed, as we and so many other small businesses are, this is what Adam can do! Many of the flowers are the same varieties Steve sent to me the very first time he sent me flowers back in 1985! Or was it 1885.....🤣😍😘

Painting project. Worked on this vintage cart this week, it’s a perfect place for the decanters that my uncle bought in Germany many years ago. Cart painted in Annie Sloan chalk paint Aubusson blue mixed with Country Grey and Taupe was made my mixing coco into clear wax.
