Chandler School of Interior Decorating

--This insightful 10-week course will help hone your own decorating style.
--It will cover the dos and don'ts of design. You will learn how to optimize traffic flow, furniture placement, the art of arranging bookshelves, accessorizing, lighting, color, fabric, art placement and window treatments,
--You will visit local homes with Tom as your guide. You will see how his teachings have been put into practice.
--For an additional fee, you can take a trip to Dallas with the class tour to-the-trade-only resources and homes.

--The 2024 Fall classes begin Tuesday, September 3 and end Tuesday, November 12.

Class begins promptly at 6 p.m. and dismisses at 8 p.m.

Class size is limited!

Cost of the class is $750. A minimum of $375 deposit is required to hold your seat. The full balance must be paid by the first night of class.

We welcome returning students with a 50% discount on tuition.

There will be an additional cost for the Dallas trip. Details will be available after classes begin.

We absolutely love this Bohemian-style home! The open etagere in front of the big window is a stroke of genius. Don't miss the Asian lantern paired with the gallery wall—Chandler's has been incorporating these lanterns into rooms for over 40 years. It's still one of Tom's favorite lighting techniques for adventurous clients.

Designer tip: It's important to be thoughtful about placement. Remember everything should be presented straight or on a 45 degree angle. There are no exceptions.
