These Premium displays for the iPhone 11 clearly have original Apple core LCD panels and touch panels. TrueTone continues to be enabled and work as well after serial transfer. 🙄

When getting a new battery make sure to choose a company that replaces the water resistant frame adhesive. A lot of replacement screens will prove a new frame adhesive but batteries do not. These two iPhone 8 Plus did not need new screens but after almost five years of service they did need new batteries. Depending on your hobbies and lifestyle, be it enjoying your phone outside, listening to music in a steamy shower or just running to the car during the rain you'll always be glad to have the water resistant frame adhesive after any repair.

Facebook has been bugging me to post so here he we go. Here’s a couple iPhone 8 Plus I refurbished this morning. Let’s discuss what an actual refurbishment means.

- Properly cleaning the frame so the IP67 water-resistant gasket will actually *STICK* to the frame and in the case of the gold phone — able to reuse the original Apple display so we clean the edge of the glass and plastic frame meet so we aren’t stacking old adhesive on new adhesive.

- Cleaning the ear piece speakers and mesh because these older yet FULLY functional and current iOS phones have so much dirt and dust packed in their ear mesh that’s then gotten wet and made ear mesh mud (eww) you can no longer hear out of them. Then cleaning the bottom loud speaker meshes.

- It’s not glamorous or sexy but it’s not rushed and it’s done correctly and the phone is literally as good as new after everything else is tested. I don’t sell phones locally with issues or problems. I send those to eBay! 😂

My good friend Nate who works for Corporate at a Major Carrier needed a repair this morning. While on my hiatus he had broken his iPhone X and taken it to a national chain for a display replacement.

It appears they installed a cheap screen that began ghost touching. They denied warranty even though it wasn’t damaged and he brought it to me where I was happy to install a soft OLED covered against not only ghost touching but OLED damage (glass damage NOT covered!) and a new battery. I needed to use my JC V1S to repair TrueColor data as the National Chain didn't copy it from Nate's original screen.

Got the frame cleaned up and a new water gasket properly laid. I may not repair as many phones as National Chain, but I give close attention to each and every one I do touch.
