We've made it to autumn! I hope everyone had a lovely and blessed Mabon (autumnal equinox) yesterday. 💜
For this first week of autumn, we pulled the three of swords. This card is sometimes called the "heartbreak card." In some instances this card is calling us out for causing turbulence, in other instances it is calling our past out for clinging to us like a dark goo. The best thing we can do to move out of this space is to allow ourselves to take part in our own healing - the three of swords reminds us that "it's okay to cry."

Happy final week of Summer! Autumn starts on Sunday (the 22nd) so try to enjoy these last few days of summer energy before we dive headfirst into the autumnal equinox (aka, Mabon).
This week we have the seven of wands. We also pulled this card about a month ago during the final week of July. The seven of wands usually means we've reached a time of struggle or that our current journey is nearing completion. Most decks show the Seven of Wands as a chance to take a stand, but this deck has a bit of a different message - it tells us to listen and then take accountability when confronted. It's a very different way to view and interpret this particular card, but not one that I disagree with. This Seven of Wands reminds us that "witches should hold other witches accountable." You may be on either side of this accountability, so try to keep an open mind and remember how it feels to be in the position of the other person involved.

This week we have the Six of Cups.
This card represents happiness and generosity. It reminds us to not cling to ideas or identities from our past - we can use those as a guide for our futures but we really need to remain focused on the present so we can be the most prepared to create solid foundations for our futures. Be kind to yourself in the same way you are kind to others. The Six of Cups tells us to "give yourself the compassion you were never given."

We made it to September! There are only 20-days before Autumn begins so I figured this month was the best time to break out my coziest deck for our weekly readings.
This week, we pulled the Cozy Witch (the Fool)! This card is all about potential - it indicates that we all have an opportunity to embark on an adventure and discover a new part of ourselves. Before you embark on your journey, remember that the world can be unpredictable and that obstacles are equally as present as discovery. You may not be successful in everything you set out to accomplish but the goal isn't to succeed, it's to learn and grow. The Cozy Witch tells us to "take a chance, for each morning is a new beginning."
🃏: The Cozy Witch Tarot
Happy final week of August! This week we have the energy of the High Priestess with us. She represents wisdom, knowledge, and the unconscious realm. We are urged to trust our intuition and turn to our dreams for guidance. Our inner voice knows the answer and we always have access to it if we allow ourselves to listen.
🃏: The Zenned Out Journey Tarot
We have the four of swords this week. This card is all about rest and replenishing your energy. We've fought our way through countless battles and there are still more to come, but for now, we need to put down our sword and focus on recovering. Try to focus on letting go of the things you can't control and instead focus your energy on taking care of your mind, body, and soul.
🃏: The Zenned Out Journey Tarot
This week we have the three of cups! This card is all about celebrations, building a community, and forming friendships. It reminds us to celebrate full extent of our emotions and the relationships we have with others. We're also reminded to be aware of where balance may be off in a relationship - we cannot pour from an empty cup (no pun intended).
🃏: The Zenned Out Journey Tarot
Happy first week of August! This week we pulled The Star. This Major Arcana card is gentle - it indicates a period of healing and positive transformation is awaiting us. It also serves as a reminder that we all have a connection to the divine that is always available. The Star asks us to to set aside grudges to avoid the damage they cause, to be open to hope, and to focus on growth.
🃏: The Zenned Out Journey Tarot
This week we have the Seven of Wands. This card generally indicates a challenging period is ahead for us. We can get through unscathed but that requires us to take a stand and set passivity aside for a moment. This doesn't mean you can't be compassionate though - kindness is always an option, even when faced with difficult decisions or positions. The advice this card brings is to stand up, find your center, and take charge. Rest will come after the conflict is resolved.
🃏: Ether Tarot
For the final full week of July (and for the week after our second Capricorn Full Moon this year), we pulled Death.
Death gets a bad reputation (which makes sense based on its name and imagery). It's not a bad omen though! This card represents transformation - it asks you to cut away the things that are hindering your growth so you have the chance to blossom without interference. Change is necessary for life to move forward - it may be hard to accept or to implement, but each of us must go through changes to become better, healthier, happier versions of ourselves. Try to examine your attachments to old ideas or relationships (and be honest with yourself about how those things may be holding you back). Right now, we're presented with an opportunity to open the gate in front of a new path - the choice is in your hands if you want to explore it.
🃏: Ether Tarot
We have the Eight of Cups for this week of July. This card is an indicator for transitions, changes, and moving on. It may be time to try something new and embrace the future. Letting go of the past is scary but it's necessary for forward movement. Sometimes this card can indicate that we're conflicted about how to move forward - to overcome this hurdle, try to focus entirely on yourself for a moment. Ask yourself what you need AND what you want. Hard decisions are part of life and delaying them doesn't make things easier later.
🃏: Ether Tarot
We pulled the Two of Swords this week. When this card appears in a reading, it usually indicates that we're in a position that requires a decision to be made. Being honest with ourselves will allow us to understand the available options so we can balance our losses with our gains. Procrastination won't help us - our problems won't go away just because we refuse to look at them.
🃏: Ether Tarot
Happy first week of July! 💜
This week, we have the Knight of Swords. This knight is bold, energetic, and very intelligent - he leads with his brain more often than not. His more intellectual nature leads him to be less patient and kind than he needs to be. When we see him in a reading, he reminds us to balance our mind with our heart - forward movement is important (and he's certainly all about momentum!) but it's not more important than the people around us.
🃏: Ether Tarot
For the final week of June we have The Hanged Man. This card represents a need to take a moment (which could cause some indecision when we can move forward again). This need for a pause could be coming from an outside source - as if we're waiting on something else to move before we do.
I think a tiger is the perfect symbol for this Major Arcana card! They're powerful and can spring into action at a moment's notice - try to remember that you possess these same qualities! Don't hesitate when it's time to move.

The Knight of Wands represents the energy we can expect this week to have. If I remember correctly, he also appeared at the very beginning of the year. This knight is fast-paced and hastily enthusiastic. He has a tendency to let his impulses get the better of him, but his energy is sometimes necessary to get the job done. He appeared in the reversed position this week which usually indicates a need to pump the breaks a little - try to take a moment to analyze what the different things preventing forward momentum are. If we have the full picture, it may be possible to use these delays to our advantage.

This week have have the Two of Cups! If you remember, we also pulled this card about seven weeks ago during the last week of April.
This card represents the strength and unity that comes from a partnership founded on mutual respect. Sometimes it will indicate that new, successful partnerships are on the horizon if we can create some balance ahead of time. The Two of Cups doesn't specifically focus on romantic partnerships (although it does emphasize those types of relationships) - really, it focuses on ALL situations where folks band together with a common goal. Communication is key to keeping relationships healthy and the Two of Cups reminds us to speak up when we need some extra attention in any area of our lives.

Feel free to message me if you have any questions or need help deciding on which reading to choose! I can also create a custom reading if none of the available options are what you're needing 💜
The Emperor jumped out of the deck while I was pulling the card for this week. He represents power and authority, as well as using your brain before using your heart. He warns against abusing this power though! Nuance is important when ruling - sure, being strong is important but if you're steamrolling everyone else just because you're the one in charge, you probably won't be staying on the throne for very long.

My apologies for being a day late this week!
We have the three of wands for this last week of May. Now is a great time to be aware of opportunities for growth, especially if they relate to current projects. Try to map out some plans for things you'd like to achieve instead of focusing on things that are already in the works. Be ready to step back and carefully assess the situation (and be prepared for hard decisions) if things start to threaten the success of your long-term goals.
The artist of this deck (Yoshi Yosh*tani) chose The Enchanted Pig (a Romanian fairytale) as the visual representation of the energy of the three of wands. I haven't had the pleasure of reading the full story myself, but from what I can gather, it's a tale of dedication, making necessary sacrifices, and staying motivated to achieve a desired outcome. The art is absolutely beautiful and I have the story on my to-read list for this June!
🃏: Tarot of the Divine
This week we pulled the seven of wands. Challenges are very likely on the horizon for us, but we have courage that will carry us through anything (even if we're scared). The seven of wands demands a position to be taken and to be defended. We have the necessary tools to hold our ground! We have the power to not back down while also remaining compassionate.
The artist of this deck (Yoshi Yosh*tani) chose John Henry (a folk legend from Alabama, USA that I grew up hearing about) as the visual representation of the energy of the seven of wands.
In all honesty, I don't think they could have chosen a better representative for this card. Normally when I pull the seven of wands, I get a little anxious. Not because it means anything inherently negative, but because no one (including me) likes to do hard things. But seeing John Henry gave me a feeling of strength and resolve - against all odds, he stood up for what he believed in and he fought for it until the very (bittersweet) end.
🃏: Tarot of the Divine
The knight of coins (pentacles) is dependable, strong, and loyal. He diligently works towards creating successful outcomes for his goals. When we pull this knight, he often brings a message which reminds us to be patient and persistent.
The artist of this deck (Yoshi Yosh*tani) chose Heitsi-Eibib (a Khoikhoi Deity from South Africa) as the visual representation of the energy of the knight of coins/pentacles. Our hero looking forward reminds me of how our spirit team is always looking towards the best path for us, even when we don't have the capacity to do so ourselves. And the ox staring directly at the us gives me an overwhelming sense that everything will be okay if we allow ourselves to go at a reasonable pace.
🃏: Tarot of the Divine
This week we pulled the Empress. We also pulled this card about 16-ish weeks ago during the second week of January. It's wild how quickly this year has flown by!
The Empress is creative, luxurious, and graceful. She encourages us to nurture new ideas and projects. Focusing on communication and relationships are both key to utilizing her energy for success. She also reminds us to be careful to not give too much of our energy away - we cannot pour from an empty cup.
The artist of this deck chose Our Lady of Guadalupe (a Catholic Saint from Mexico) as a visual representation of the energy of the Empress. I think the warm colors and calming presence really embody the Empress's energy, and I felt exponentially better when this card was pulled for this week. I hope you feel comforted by this beautiful imagery and energy as well!
🃏: Tarot of the Divine
Good morning! This week we're back on track (and on time) and we've pulled the two of pentacles. We also pulled this card about ten weeks ago (around mid-February).
The two of pentacles focuses on balance. Even a small change could impact the situations we find ourselves in. If we have more to give, then that's not a problem - but if we've found ourselves in a bit of a tight spot, losing balance could be detrimental. Trust in yourself that you can maintain balance in your life - you've done it before (and you've done it successfully)! If you feel torn between too many things, step off the metaphorical tightrope and figure out which ones need to be prioritized. It's okay to set things aside for a little while so you can more easily focus on other things. Also, (and I know this is hard to do) ask for help if you need it - no one can expect you to perform a balancing act without a safety net below you!

I apologize for being late again this week! We should be back to our regular schedule next week - thank you for being patient with me while I get back into my routine! 💜
For this week, we pulled the two of cups. This card focuses on the strong bond forged from folks knowingly and intentionally uniting. It reflects commitments between allies (of all types, not just romantic). When the two of cups appears, it acts as a positive omen for creating or strengthening relationships and partnerships - it indicates positive results as an outcome of cooperation and respect (for yourself and others). The reversed meaning warns us of the fallout that results from a lack of mutual respect - if you're feeling a lack of cohesion and trust in your relationships (however they're manifesting for you), make sure to communicate your needs and try to amicably resolve any tension that could be lingering from past situations. Remember that a closed mouth doesn't get fed - speak up and ask for what you need and desire! 💜
