Rather you need help learning a wrestling move or studying for your upcoming test, we have your back! We want all of our girls to succeed to their fullest potential!

Girls: As I see many are making their final decisions, remember University of Arkansas at Little Rock is an available opportunity for all of you!!

Here, we will be going with NCWA wrestling folkstyle during season and an optional freestyle season once the college season is over. However, within a couple years we really hope to be NCAA D1!! This college is greatly affordable and has so many study options, it’s endless! Campus fun, a huge wrestling facility, and plenty of hangout spots!

UALR WOMEN’S WRESTLING UPDATE AND PROGRAMS:

I want to tell you what we have to offer at UALR.
As a college, we have plenty of majors and minors suitable for you. Here, you can find our undergraduate programs:

Your major is your FIRST PRIORITY! So make sure we have what you want before applying! If undecided, see if you see something in your field of interest.
As a criminal justice and law enforcement double major, I can tell you the criminal justice program is awesome. I have yet to step into my minor classes since I just declared my minor, but I’ve heard great about the engineering programs too.

So on behalf of wrestling, we will be working with NCWA as the UALR Women’s Wrestling team. Here, we will be folkstyle. But most likely, this will only roll for about 2 years before we become a NCAA D1 team wrestling freestyle. There is still an opportunity to wrestle freestyle on the collegiate “off-season”! NCWA can help us get funding to do awesome things. You can find their website at NCWA.net, where you can find some more information if you’d like.
As a team, we are here for the experienced and inexperienced. Whether you are a champion or have never stepped foot on a mat, we’d love to be your home. A team full of dedicated, hard working women striving to be the best. Our next goal? Bring home that gold! Come be a part of the gold party at UALR and see what we’re about.
