Hailing from Bryant, Arkansas, Evan Lee boasts an impressive resume, having been named the Gatorade Player of The Year and a State Champion. During his time at the University of Arkansas Baseball Team, Evan excelled as a two-way player, showcasing his deep understanding of the game.

Drafted by the Washington Nationals in 2018, Evan’s journey to the MLB is a testament to his unwavering dedication, passion, and resilience. With notable achievements including an all-star season with the Auburn Doubledays and recognition on the top-30 prospects list, Evan’s expertise and experience are unparalleled.

Evan’s commitment to giving back to the game is evident in his coaching approach. He’s mentored numerous athletes, guiding them to success both on and off the field. His focus on detail, pushing athletes beyond their limits, and instilling the fundamentals of efficient movement and preparation sets him apart as a premier instructor.

Estelí, Nicaragua, is the hometown and birthplace of Henner Gonzalez. Baseball has always been a part of his family and his life since he was a little child.

His extensive career with the Nicaragua National Team has allowed him to showcase his skills in various nations, including the United States, the Dominican Republic, Panama, Costa Rica, Honduras, and El Salvador.

In 2019, he made the significant decision to leave his country, friends, and family to pursue his dream of becoming a professional baseball player. He graduated from Scotland Campus Sports High School in Pennsylvania.

After a challenging COVID-shortened season, he committed to New Mexico Military Institute NJCAA D1 in NM with a full scholarship immediately after graduation. He spent two years there before transferring to Arkansas Baptist College, where he is currently enrolled.

Henner is passionate about baseball and enjoys teaching others as a catcher/hitter. He has experience working as a full-time catching and hitting coach at Dbats Permian Basin and looks forward to helping kids of all ages improve their performance as catchers, hitters, and individuals.

John Bolton’s Gold Glove Clinic this Sunday, November 12th!!

Our Proformance Gold Glove Clinic will consist of drills, instruction, and competitions to help infielders develop their gold glove skills. Proper footwork, glove work, and elite defender mentalities will be covered over the course of the clinic. Our goal is for all camp members to leave the clinic with more confidence, knowledge, and improved skill sets to elevate their game! Below is a message from the clinic instructor and former Arkansas Razorback shortstop, John Bolton:

“I believe that all great defenders must have good footwork, an aggressive mentality, and, of course, the ability to catch and throw a baseball at a high level. Developing these assets at an early age is imperative for a young athlete to have a successful career!”

What a week of exciting news!! We are so pumped to add John to the Proformance Team! John will be leading the charge for glove work/defense for all of our Proformance athletes! Once again a great athlete and even better person has become part of our team!

Here’s a little more about John..

John Bolton is a Memphis, TN native who most recently played short stop for the Arkansas Razorbacks in 2023. Before playing in Fayetteville, John attended high school at Memphis University School, where he was named a 2018 Mr. Baseball Finalist in the state of Tennessee. He started his collegiate baseball career at Hinds Community College in Raymond, MS, where he played his freshman and “Covid sophomore” year, and eventually finished his undergrad playing at Austin Peay State University. John used his extra year of eligibility, due to Covid, to graduate transfer to the University of Arkansas. During his tenure as a Razorback, John and his team won the 2023 SEC regular season championship, and he led the SEC in double plays turned.
John will teach glove work to young players in the infield, sharing the mentality, habits, and skills that good infielders possess.

“I’ve always taken pride in my defense, and I’m excited to teach the youth all of the valuable things that I’ve learned in the infield over the course of my career!”

We couldn’t be more excited to welcome long time Proformance Athlete Trey Harris to our Proformance Team! Trey
is a great athlete and even better Person for athletes to learn from! Trey will be leading the charge for all of our Speed Training!

Here’s a little more about Trey..

Trey Harris, a native of Little Rock, Arkansas, emerged as a dynamic multi-sport athlete during his formative years. Excelling in baseball, football, and track, he showcased exceptional versatility. Earning All-Conference recognition in his junior year, Trey’s senior achievements included attaining All-State status in both baseball and football. Apart from his on-field prowess, he triumphed in the 100m dash at the 5A conference track meet, further highlighting his speed. Notably, he clocked a remarkable 6.4 seconds in the 60-yard dash at a Proformance camp that year. Garnering interest from the University of Arkansas, Trey embarked on his collegiate journey, making a significant impact during his two-year tenure. His freshman year saw him in action in 15 games, with nine outfield starts and notable pinch-hitting contributions. Unfortunately, his sophomore season was curtailed by the Covid-19 pandemic. Determined to persevere, Trey chose to transfer to Crowder College, where he continued to fuel his baseball passion. Notably, he not only earned an Associates degree in Psychology but also played a pivotal role in the team’s impressive journey to the Juco World Series. Trey’s path eventually led him to the University of Central Arkansas, where he navigated the challenges of injuries. During this phase, he discovered his true calling in coaching, recognizing the profound opportunity to share his knowledge and experiences with the next generation of aspiring athletes.
