In Loving Memory of Neena Louise Grissom (1952-2024)
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved former faculty member, Neena Louise Grissom, who passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at the age of 72.
Neena was more than just an educator at UAMS College of Nursingβshe was a guiding light for countless students, colleagues, and friends. Over her many years with us, she passionately taught graduate nursing education and undergraduate pharmacology, leaving an indelible mark on our institution and the hearts of those she touched. Even after her retirement in 2018, her legacy continued to inspire.
We honor Neenaβs memory and extend our deepest condolences to her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her. May we carry forward her dedication to nursing and education in our continued efforts to shape the future of healthcare.
Rest in peace, Neena. Your contributions will never be forgotten.
