Mr. Boyd’s world famous BOYD BEDSTEAD became a staple furniture piece bought by hotels and individuals. His beds were so impressive that others tried to replicate his work therefore, he stamped his name on each frame so that people would know that they were receiving the real Boyd Bedstead.

Mr. Boyd was also a well known abolitionist who was active in the Underground Railroad as a conductor. So active was Boyd in the Underground Railroad, that many believe that Boyd’s home was the first stop once across the Ohio River.

We started this business in 1996, Brad needed something to do after he retired (too young). So the opportunity presented itself for him to take over an existing furniture store, a small mom and pop store at 6525 West 65th Street. Of course things worked out great and in 2000 we moved to 8824 Geyer Springs, right next to Krogers. Things were working out great, then the Lord gave Brad the vision to close and in June 2007 we closed the doors. Right before the economy failed.
Well then in 2013 Brad was tired of being retired so we reopen at 8700 West Kanis. Of course the economy was turned around by the Obama Administration. We were there for over a year, then they sold the building and we moved to 6901 West 12th Street. We stayed there for 3 years. And now were located at 3900 John Barrow. It’s great here and business is good. We have a beautiful showroom and other amenities for your shopping pleasure. We can supply all your furniture need for home, office, school, apartments, etc. and we can deliver anywhere.
