This prestigious certification reflects Joshua's commitment to staying at the forefront of mental health innovation. Joshua is now equipped to offer groundbreaking psychedelic-assisted therapies, thanks to the dedication and academic teachings provided by the Integrative Psychiatry Institute (IPI). Their 256 hour comprehensive program included rigorous training backed by studies, as well as experiential components for deeper, in-depth understanding, including the preparation, dosing, and integration of psilocybin, ketamine, and M**A.

Joshua’s passion for bringing cutting-edge treatments to Arkansas is unwavering. Wellness fitness is back! Join us July 22nd to begin to feel freer in your body while building strength!

For those new to us, wellness fitness is a class designed to help you move more freely in your body using exercise bands and movement. While it may not seem like a traditional strength class, strength isn't always about heavy lifting. Sometimes, it's about moving one muscle easier or finding mental ease in movement.

Josh Strickland

Meet Josh Strickland, a therapist at Rock City Counseling, now bringing his talents to the stage as our second host. Josh is a compassionate individual with a love for service. His approach involves inclusivity, empowerment, and gratitude. Previously having worked with Kaye Knight on stage, we are highly curious to see what presence they bring to the show this year!

New classes, including a free support group, and a free yoga class once a month. All our LoveHala Wellness Community services are open to everyone, you do not have to be a patient at our clinic to take advantage of our wellness services!!!

We have had several changes happen this month, so here is a quick update on our new class schedule! Check out the next dates for the classes:

Restorative Yoga: July 29

Somatic Hatha Yoga: July 17
Energetic Collective: July 24
Free Yoga: August 15

Please be aware that Energetic Collective has shifted to every other week! There will be no meeting this week. The collective will resume on August 24th at 5 PM and continue on a biweekly basis.

This decision was made to better align with attendance trends and improve operations, opening the door to more offerings. We can't wait to see you next week!

Melissa

Melissa is a captivating lyra performer who understands how overwhelming life can get. Her performances are a beautiful blend of flowy and graceful movements, enhanced by her classical training. As a lyra instructor and returning performer from last year, Melissa's unique approach to the lyra keeps the audience engaged and inspired. Her artistry is both entertaining and reflective of the ups and downs we all face. To add to the fun, she has a special surprise in store this year!

Kaye Knight

Kaye Knight has performed and stage managed throughout Central Arkansas. Often heard singing the National Anthem for the Arkansas Travelers (NLR), Kaye is a versatile talent. She can be found stage managing at Argenta Contemporary Theatre (NLR) in shows such as RENT, Our Town, and others. Her most recent on-stage appearance was in Titanic: The Musical at The Royal Theatre (Benton).

Morophon

Morophon’s bellydance journey began in 2008-2009, inspired by their best friend. Since then, they have studied several styles, including Egyptian Cabaret, Fusion, and American Tribal Style. Making their professional debut as a performer and instructor in 2022, they have performed with Arkansas Circus Arts, Lola’s Playhouse, been a guest performer with Foul Play Cabaret, and a cast member of local community productions. As a recent addition to the Arkansas Shake Shakers, Morophon continues to shake, shimmy, wow, and captivate audiences.

Meet Constance, our incredible aerial hammock performer and a returning artist from last year's show. After facing immense challenges, including the loss of her mother and a significant relationship, she found strength in her community and friends. Mental health remains a crucial part of her story, and her performances reflect the incredible turnaround and new beginnings she has experienced. Join Constance as she shares her powerful story and celebrates the best version of her life through her art.
