Finally getting around to posting more of these.
I hadn’t done any serious work with medium format in over 10 years but with FF cams being a bit more of the same these days (at least in terms of image quality) I have decided to give medium format a go again. Swipe to see the detail at 100%, it’s impressive!

A recent shot of the staff of Salon J'adore LR for AY Magazine. Wireless tethering made this shoot easier because I could bring the computer closer for viewing and not affect subject placement. 😎

I love capturing the unique personality of each high school senior I photograph. Congratulations Landon!

After some initial photo 🤓 testing I was finally able to take the new(ish) Sony 70-200 F/2.8 GM OSS II into the field for some proper testing. 😃 I’m very happy with the flare performance and the sharpness rivals high-end primes. Swipe to see a closer crop.

While flash is usually my preference I have learned over the years that being proficient with creating light leads to discovering beautiful available light as well. Here all the white concrete surfaces worked well with the evening sun.

After asking a few different friends to borrow a battery powered fan the wind decided to volunteer instead. Just the right amount of hair movement made this my favorite shot from Candice’s business headshot session. 😃 Need new headshots? DM me for more information!
