Mount Holly Garden Series
Join us April thru October 2012 on the third Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. Sponsored by the Downtown Dames, refreshments served.
Per the Victorian tradition, guests are invited to bring items from their gardens to share with other attendees. We've shared plants, seeds, bulbs, cuttings, fruits and vegetables! Wear a pretty garden hat and meet us in the shade of the historic bell house in the center of this beautiful and historic cemetery.
The next presentation of the Mount Holly Garden Series will be Saturday, September 17th at the Historic Bell House in the center of the cemetery.
The Garden Series meets the 3rd Saturday of each month (April through October) at 9:00 A.M. Bring a lawn chair and enjoy the program! Master Gardeners may report as educational hours.

Mount Holly Garden Series Resumes in 2021
We regret that COVID-19 canceled our Mount Holly Garden Series in 2020, but the Downtown Dames are anxious to resume our popular event in 2021. Mount Holly is still closed to larger events. With respect to the cemetery guidelines and the guidelines of the City of Little Rock, the April, May and June meetings will be held in Margaret Wyatt’s yard, 1600 Louisiana Street, Little Rock, AR, 72206. Louisiana is one block west of Main Street.
The situation will be re-evaluated in June. Once it is safe to meet at Mount Holly, we will continue the lectures and programs at the Bell House.
The guidelines for our resuming the Mount Holly Garden Series are simple. We are meeting at a private home. Therefore, everyone attending will need to bring a lawn chair, socially distance and wear a mask. We regret that no public bathroom will be available. Refreshments will not be served, so feel free to bring a cup of coffee with you.

PLEASE READ (and Like our Page), Spring will be here soon: This is a honey bee. The pollen on her legs is from dandelions. The bee is now dead, with her tongue out.
It’s spring, dandelions are the bees first food. Bees can die/be harmed from w**d killer spread on what we see as w**ds, but what nature sees as food. Please don’t spray for w**ds until you see the blackberries blooming. In this area, w**ds, flowers and fruit trees are bees only source of food until middle of June. There are FAR more w**ds than flowers or fruit trees, so it's their only food source. No bees, no food crops for us.
Please don’t apply w**d killer. It will kill the bees, and they need this as a food source right now.
