The USAFA Hotel and Events Center, part of the TrueNorth Commons mixed-use development, will boast 375 rooms, an upscale spa, a business center, and a variety of dining experiences. 🏞️

To commemorate this momentous occasion, the project team signed the last steel beam and celebrated with food, drink, and great company.

We want to extend our gratitude to the incredible team that made this possible, including: Provident Resources Group, GE Johnson, BLUR Workshop, and MV Consulting Inc. 🙌 Together, we are creating a stunning destination for guests from near and far.

Despite facing challenging conditions, our team exhibited unwavering commitment during months of continuous labor to ensure the project's timely completion within budgetary constraints.

The remarkable level 5 finishes are at the core of our success, evident in every detail showcased throughout. As you explore the pictures below, notice the exquisite craftsmanship of the wooden slats adorning the ceiling. Each slat boasts its own unique thickness, width, and color, creating a truly mesmerizing sight. To ensure a flawless installation, the wood installer would carefully arrange a selection of wood pieces, while a dedicated Greiner team member meticulously held each fixture in place, guaranteeing a seamless alignment with the wood and an alluring appearance. This thorough approach reflects our unwavering commitment to upholding the highest standards of quality.

The ABC Excellence in Construction® (EIC) Awards, presented to 82 of the nation's top construction projects in 2022, serve as the construction industry's leading national competition. These prestigious awards honor general and specialty contractors for their world-class, safe, and innovative construction projects from across the country. We are humbled to have our project selected among the best in the nation, further highlighting our commitment to excellence.

🔦Project Spotlight🏟️

Hey Broncos fans! You may have seen Bucky Bronco being lifted by crane in January from atop the South Stands scoreboard at Empower Field at Mile High. We're excited to share with you the progress we've made on the new scoreboard as part of the record-breaking $100M in stadium upgrades.

Our team at Greiner Electric is proud to be partnered with Mortenson Construction and Daktronics for this project, and we're hard at work installing the new 72-foot high and 225-feet wide scoreboard, which will make it the fourth-largest single scoreboard in the NFL. This means more real-time statistics, hi-definition replays, and enhanced in-game entertainment for all Broncos fans!

Take a look at these photos showcasing the removal of Bucky Bronco from the old scoreboard and the progress of the installation of the new one. It's a privilege for us to be involved in such a thrilling project, and we're eagerly looking forward to witnessing the final outcome by the beginning of the NFL season in August!

Greiner Electric has officially moved our Southern Colorado location into a bigger office space in Colorado Springs! Our new location at the Centennial Business Center, 4815 List Drive, provides us with nearly 10,000 square feet of space to better serve our clients and accommodate our growing team. We're also thrilled to be just minutes away from the stunning Garden of the Gods Park and Ute Valley Park. As we wrap up , we’re delighted to feature Viri, one of our newest team members! She has already made a positive impact on our projects and embodies the spirit of the week by demonstrating that women can thrive in the construction industry.

Viri loves the fast-paced environment and the constant knowledge she acquires on different job sites. She has already become proficient in several areas, including fire alarm, light control, and her favorite - underground!

As an electrician, she loves the variety of tasks each day brings. Her advice to other women considering a career in construction: don't be intimidated! Focus on being a team player, working effectively and safely, and you can become an asset to any crew!

Throughout the week, we've celebrated the many paths women take to succeed in the industry, and Viri is a great example of that. We're proud to have her on our team and grateful for her contributions to our projects. Thank you for being an inspiration, Viri!

As we celebrate day 4 of , we want to recognize Kim, who has been an integral part of our team at Greiner for nearly a decade as Project Coordinator!

Kim finds the construction industry exciting due to the ever-changing environment of learning and problem-solving. Being part of a process that ultimately leads to a tangible final product that she can be proud of and gives her a sense of accomplishment.

Kim advises women considering a career in construction: "It can be intimidating to work in an industry primarily composed of men. Yet, I have been supported and championed by both male and female colleagues, making it a very satisfying career over the past decade!"

We are proud to have Kim as a part of our team and value the contributions she makes to our success. We take great pride in promoting and supporting the success of women in the construction industry. Let's come together and celebrate the ongoing !

Today is day 3, and we are shining the spotlight on Jill, an Assistance Service Account Manager who has been in the industry for over 8 years!

According to Jill, "There is so much to learn about this industry. It is exciting to drive by a building around town and say that you had a role in the construction no matter what they may be!" - We couldn't agree more!

We are so proud to have Jill as part of our team and we are grateful for her contributions to the industry. For women considering a career in construction, Jill advises "There are any resources and people that have been in this industry for so long. Don't be afraid to try something new and soak up the knowledge!"

Let's continue to support and uplift women like Jill who are making a difference in the construction industry!

Happy Day 2 of !

Today we're excited to feature Daesha, a 3rd year apprentice in our service department. Daesha loves working in the electrical trade because there's always something new to learn, and it proves endless opportunities for growth. She also credits her work in the field with helping her become more independent and confident in all aspects of her life.

When asked what advice she would give to other women considering a career in construction, she replied "Just do it! It's not without its hardships - that’s for sure. Sometimes it is tougher for us, and it can feel like you have to prove yourself a lot more than others, but it is worth it. It helps you provide financial stability for your family, helps you learn to be more confident, and gain independence. In all aspects, it makes you a stronger person. Also, there is an overwhelmingly great feeling when you surprise others with your skill and knowledge in the trade. Especially when they doubt you - proving people wrong and breaking stigmas feels pretty good! It definitely gives you more of a drive to be better and to take more pride in your work. Being an electrician is very hard work, but it is something you can be proud to tell others you do for a living."

Greiner Electric is proud to join the celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day and commemorate his life and his lasting legacy of social justice, peace, and civil rights. A highly respected leader who believed in the power of non-violent resistance, Dr. King fought for equality for all people and made significant contributions to the advancement of civil rights for African Americans across America. He was a visionary leader whose work is still evident today in our laws, schools, workplaces and communities.

We honor him today and always for his courage and dedication to advancing civil rights in this country.
