This market is different from what most people have grown accustomed to, and selling your home feels significantly different than in recent years.
Inventory continues to climb, and there are no signs of it slowing down. We continue to see inventory records for the last ten years break, with last week's total of 9,839 properties for sale. This is a substantial increase compared to 5,354 last year and just 3,571 in 2021.
With an increase in inventory, we are also seeing an increase in homes being pulled off the market and listings expiring, likely due to sellers not being prepared to handle this new market, which requires a new level of patience.
