I started crocheting in 2010 after I was unable to work any longer. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and back issues. I was going crazy at home and needed a hobby. I decided to try crochet so I bought some hooks and yarn to get started and went to YouTube to learn! Today I also have learned to knit and love both equally! I have found knitting and crochet are very relaxing (until I find a mistake!) and good therapy to keep my hands moving so the RA doesn't get too bad.

I made this with a soft, lightweight yarn that is very stretchy. This yarn is also light enough to wear this to the pool or the beach without being overheated! The head used in the pictures is not adult sized and the headband slid on with out stretching.

Our Story

I have always been drawn to computer programing since I was a kid, long before the internet was born! Since then I have learned to program in C#, Visual Basic, PHP, HTML, CSS, Javascript & a couple languages that are now “dead” or have merged into a current language of today. I have had a number of websites since the internet began, (I’m really not that old!) and today I have one, cilcreations.com which is my craft shop and cilcreations.com/apwp which is my WordPress plugin page.
