We are more than halfway there. Let's get Open Heart Kitchen the rest of the way there!

Join us in strengthening the safety net across our Tri-Valley region with a gift to the Build the Food Bank, Bring the Hope campaign. Your donation will help build out a localized food distribution center in Livermore. The Open Heart Food Bank will be a gathering place for small and local food pantries to pick up free grocery items with greater efficiency and less travel costs. The Open Heart Food Bank will also serve as a food receiving and distribution center in the event of a disaster-related emergency that would affect the Tri-Valley, such as an earthquake, wildfire, etc. Your donation will be matched 2:1 through our matching campaign with CHEF.

Funds will enable us to increase the number of programming slots available, develop and offer new, creative enrichment programming to Irby Ranch residents and non-residents (cooking, arts/crafts, movie nights, field trips, etc.) They also support the development of new residential communities in Lafayette and Dublin, and allow us to continue to offer innovative and vibrant classes through our Garden Program.

𝗪𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝗱 𝗜𝘁!

A few months back, we dreamed with our friends at Community Health and Education Foundation on how we can collaborate and support our 28 GV neighbors. They generous offered to host an online giving campaign, pledging to match 50% of all donations.

Welp... We did it! We met our goal! Through this giving campaign, we organically raised $50,000 and CHEF donated an additional $25,000. To put that into perspective – That's going to provide 24/7 support and private housing for 28 neighbors for an entire month!
