Introducing our newest teaching professional! Hana Lee, MBA

Hana is a PGA Associate Level 1 Instructor. Following the legacy of her father who played on the KPGA tour, Hana has been in the golf industry with over 15 years of experience. She received a full-ride scholarship to Holy Names University, where she played as a top player for five years and was named Women’s Golf Coach Association All-American Scholar for 3 times. Her outstanding performance as a player granted her an opportunity to pursue a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with the athletic scholarship.

She brings a combination of technical/mental training and elite competition experiences to her lessons. She simplifies the game to help her clients to build fundamental foundations and does her magic to bring out the most natural, functioning and beautiful swings of her clients. She believes that an individual’s swing is dependent on the person’s body type, personal strengths, natural tendencies and flexibility. In addition, she provides a light and fun environment during her lesson while developing efficient programs suitable for each individual. With her passion for coaching junior golfers, Hana has coached at PGA Jr. Camp, Nike Junior Camps and On the Green Golf Camp. She is also knowledgeable of the college recruiting process and has consulted with high school athletes for their recruitment efforts.

Here are some tips for using the driving range effectively ⬇️ ⬇️
Warm up: Stretch your arms, neck, back, quads, and hamstrings before hitting a ball.
Set goals: Know what you want to work on before you start practicing.
Start short: Hit to a target that's not too far away.
Change your target and club: After every 10 balls, change your target or club so you can analyze your shots.
Practice your short game: Use wedges for various shots to help improve your short game.
Hit the putting green: End your practice session by hitting the putting green to practice short chips and putting.
Focus on your stance: Your stance is important for driving distance, so make sure you adjust it if it's affecting your game.
Record and analyze your swings: Use Toptracer or other tools to track your progress and analyze your swings.

Inaugural Master’s Par Three Contest was a hit. The pictured winners here are Michael Foscalina and Joe Lundin. Also we must shout out Joe Lundin for winning one of the closest to the hole contests, the best way possible, with an ACE on hole 6! Smooth 🤌🏼

A few photos from our First Green Program we did a couple of weeks ago. Gary Ingram came to do the presentation with the help of our own Golf Course Superintendent, Alberto Munoz and a couple members of his crew.
The kids learned about the properties of water and how important it is to our environment as well as the equipment used to maintain the golf course and everything that goes into making the golf course as good as possible for everyone's enjoyment. We also had the kids build and decorate some bird houses to go onto the golf course!
