Today we celebrated the retirement of Ms. Samantha Stephens! She taught for 32 years here at AHR and has touched so many lives❤️ We will miss her so much but we wish her the best in this new season of life! Congratulations Ms. Stephens 💐🎉

We’re so thankful for Swallows Insurance Agency who provide these grants to local educators! They create so many great opportunities for students in our community! We’re also proud of Mrs. Loftis for taking the time to apply for this grant for her students! We’re doing great things at AHR! 🦅 🔵 ⚪️

Amy Loftis, first grade teacher at A. H. Roberts Elementary in Overton County, is our May Swallows Scholars grant recipient. She will use the grant funds to provide centers to promote students working independently or in small groups. Students will be able to practice reading fluency, word work, phonics, spelling and math in the new activity centers.

The Swallows Scholars grant is open to any teacher in Dekalb, Overton or Putnam counties and may be accessed on our website at SwallowsInsurance.com. To wrap up Teacher Appreciation Week last week✨🪩We had 𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙞𝙩 𝙤𝙛𝙛 day with milkshakes from DQ and also 𝙚𝙣𝙙 𝙜𝙖𝙢𝙚 on Friday with Chick-fil-a breakfast! 🍽️💕🥰 Our teachers & staff make the whole school shimmer here at AHR and we are so grateful for them! 🎶🩵

We’re in our ✨Teacher Appreciation Era✨ this week here at AH Roberts! ✨🎉🩷🪩💫 Starting the week off strong we had 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙮 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙞𝙩 Monday with KFC lunch, followed by 𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙠 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙢𝙖𝙙𝙚 𝙢𝙚 𝙗𝙧𝙚𝙬 Tuesday with breakfast provided by Life Church from DQ! 🎶🩵 We want to give a huge thank you to KFC and Life Church for their generosity to donate these delicious meals for our teachers & staff! 🍽️ We hope everyone is staying safe and dry in this weather and we can’t wait to 𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙞𝙩 𝙤𝙛𝙛 when we get back to school! 🥤🥳🌈
