*Our putt putt experience the other day was funnnnn* :)
It's easy to give up. Its easy to have a bad day and not feel motivated the next day or two.
I had a really bad Monday last week. One of those days that bad news came, then at night my son and I got into a heated argument.
Come Tuesday, I was unmotivated. Pi**ed off still.
It took me all morning to realize, bad things happen to all of us.
It's how we move on and motivate ourselves that makes all of the difference.
There's times it's going to feel like everything is going wrong with your job, your money, your BAD LUCK.
But, the turnaround is available. It's your time to overcome everything.
And if you need that extra push.... hit me up. I'm ready to be your motivator.
Stay positive.

An entire day dedicated to driving to and from Grand Rapids filled with golf, networking and amazing snacks.
Started off golfing a great 9 holes with Tj Swore , Dan Fleetwood , and Jeffrey Dana
We all struggled, but the weather was prefect, and we had a blast "golf networking."
Continued on to the fowling warehouse in GR for more fun times with the best networking group around, 52 Connections in 52 Weeks
Thanks for all of the snack and goodies Pam Kryger and Beverly Weber Constantine
Finished the night off halfway home with a potential client call in front of a random biggby :)
Tired, but well worth the awesome Thursday!
“When you’re about to take a step into something new, remember that you’re nervous because it’s unfamiliar to you, not because you cannot handle it.” So well put by Indigo North
This picture was the night before I quit my FT job to take on my own company in 2021. The ultimate nervousness.
The roads were rocky, (and still are from time to time.)
There's been times I wanted to quit. Too much pressure. Not enough clients. Money up and down.
But, I kept going.
Because I have goals. I have dreams.
It's the same with your money. You have goals. You have to make do with what you got, and make it work.
It's going to take some time and effort up front, but you GOT THIS.
Let's get it started today.

Why would you ever hire a financial coach?
Here's why Sara Barco 's husband was nervous:
Was pride: Someone digging into our finances.
We didn’t have organization. We look non-prepared.
We already have debt: Why would we?
Her answer?
“We will never be able to afford and have any extra income if we don’t get an outside perspective on what we are doing. Whatever we are currently doing isn’t working. We are paycheck to paycheck, so why not pay the money now, and we end up saving the money later… it’s an investment in our financial future.”

Running your own business is tough. Here’s a few things I’ve learned the last year that are vital.
Don’t overspend: The old phrase “It takes money to make money,” to an extent.. Is bull crap.
Yes, spending some money to better your product and business is of course required, but early on, I got WAYY too committed to buying things. Looking back, I probably would have reduced my expenses by a good 30%.
Don’t lose track: Come tax time, you are going to want to make your tax preparer's life easy. Do not get behind on your bookkeeping and income/expense tracking. Too many times, I see business owners get lazy, and before they know it, they are 6-12 months behind on this.
Separate finances: It can be super easy to get into a nasty habit of allowing yourself to not keep business money and personal money apart. Open a business bank account immediately. Oh yeah, and let me do your bookkeeping (which I’m certified in.)
The 18 month rule: Businesses are just hoping in the first year to break even. Stop trying to become the king and queen in the first year. It’s rare that you kick ass the first year. Give yourself time to build it out. Don’t just quit if something doesn’t go your way in the first 12-18 months. Network, meet people, and know, it will come if you put the effort in. My business SUCKED the first year. Gradually, it gets better.
I help so much more than just stressed out couples. I also help business owners with their finances, bookkeeping and tax inquiries. Schedule a complimentary chat today to discuss the stress that is sitting over your head. :)

I can't imagine going through a Father's Day without my son. (or daughter)
“Storms always end eventually.”
I gotta be very vulnerable today. With the random tornado that killed a two year old, and destroyed an awesome Livonia family… and now this sh$ # in Rochester Hills with multiple people shot at a SPLASH pad, I got a lot of doubt and storms going through me.
But, I’m willing to lean on my wife to discuss my thoughts, doubts, and anger. I’m willing to be vulnerable and admit I don’t have all of the answers and need some guidance in life….
Listen, storms come through our life a lot. But here’s the thing: We have to find a way to let the storms end. There are going to be a lot of storms in your life, but we can’t just keep forgetting that not everything is permanent in life.
All of us have storms that cause headaches for us. You are not alone. Life is challenging. Sometimes, we can’t handle the storms all by ourselves.
I know there are times like now, where I definitely don’t handle storms well.
Eventually, we need that guiding hand to get us through the darkest of storms.
Being a money coach is so much more than that. I help others by just listening. It is often about relationships. Life in general.
Whatever it is, if you need some guidance, just message me. Let’s grab a coffee. Or just chat for a while on the phone.
Be kind to everyone. You don’t know what others are going through.
