Greetings Clubbers!

We did it! We had our first Taco Bar since the plague. I think it was a huge success! Definitely will do so again.

Our theme for June was "Fun in the Sun". Only a few entries, as it was June, many were out enjoying graduations.

July's get together is Saturday the 8th. I'm signed up, are you?

July's theme is "Show and Tell". You may submit three projects of any kind... sewing, ceramic, painting, stitching, quilting, any craft goes. You will receive one ticket per item, two tickets if your creation has any Cricut cuts on it.

Greetings Clubbers! It's been too long since I've posted. Not sure where the time went, but it went fast! We are hosting our first Taco Bar since the plague. Our next get together is coming up! Our theme is "Flowers/Spring". I will also have flowers for everyone to decorate and then be displayed as a beautiful spring wreath!

Happy New Year! I'm ready to start a new year full of fun, friends and crafty goodness!

I'd like to welcome some new faces and some faces we haven't seen for awhile. Yeah! Welcome to Cricut Club... Vikki, Terri and Catherine!

Our January theme is Winter. You can submit two items that you have paper crafted within the last 30 days. You will receive a ticket for each item entered and if you used your Cricut to create any part of your project you will receive an extra ticket. We display all items and around 3:30/4pm a drawing is held where you could win a wee prize.

I will provide snowman for everyone to decorate. I have received many complements on our previous displays. I will be returning the gingerbread man.

Remember, everything is voluntary and we are all here to have fun.

Our get together date is Jan. 14th. I hope to see everyone there!

Greetings Clubbers! Happy wonderful weather today! I hope everyone is able to get outside and enjoy the sunshine and warm temps.

Our next get together is Saturday, Nov. 12th. Remember to sign up by calling the store or stopping in to reserve your seat. We will be exchanging information for Secret Elves (voluntary only). Our challenge theme is "Thanksgiving". I wonder what will be displayed?!?!

We decorated some pumpkins and leaves for a little display in the store... see picture below. Thanks to everyone who participated.

Greetings Clubbers! Happy Autumn to all! What a beautiful time of the year. Our last get together was awesome. Our challenge was Autumn. Check out the pictures to see some creative projects.

Our challenge for October is Halloween! Remember you may enter two projects. If there are Cricut cuts on your project you will receive an extra ticket for the drawing.

We are going to spice things up a bit... I will provide pumpkins and/or leaves for you to decorate however you choose. I will collect them at the end of the day and make a wreath from our creations to hang up at Scrappy Chic.

We will be celebrating birthdays... must play catch up from April, May, June, July, August, September and October.

Upcoming:
November's challenge is Thanksgiving. We will draw for Secret Elves (just like secret pals, gift value $10).
December's challenge is Christmas. We will exchange our Secret Elf gifts. Ornament exchange... please remember that everyone works at a different level.

Reminder... all of these events are voluntary. You do not have to participate.

I'm sorry I haven't posted in such a long time. My husband had a heart attack, surgery, more surgery... a rollercoaster ride that is just about over! I'm looking forward to coming to Cricut Club this Saturday, August 13th. I need to give a big shout out to Barbara and Pam who totally took care of everything while I was away. Thank you ladies!

Our theme for this month is "A" A for August. You can submit any type of paper craft with something that starts with the letter "A" or is a word that starts with "A"... some examples... apples, apes, alphabet, Aunt, etc.... or how about this... attitude, amazing, adventure, autumn, album, etc.... or how about this... colors: Azure, Amethyst, Amber... so many choices.

In celebration of my return you can submit as many items as you wish, but only win once.

I can't wait for the weekend! See you soon!

Clubbers! The new store is open and ready for us to crop! The crop room is wonderful with an entire wall of windows! There are spaces for up to 30 people. Each person will have their own 6 foot table. There are electrical ports and usb ports available. Please note that the internet connection isn't working until June. If you have a mobile hot spot you might want to use it.

We had originally planned on our theme being "what we did while the store was closed", but... I'm changing it to... Show and Tell anything you want! New or old projects... we are just happy to be back in the store!

Our gathering is Saturday, May 14th. Please call and sign up if you haven't already.

Greetings Clubbers! Scrappy Chic is getting closer to move time. The lights have been removed from the crop room and replaced with hanging lights... see picture. It changes the lighting a bit. The crop room remains open. I'm recommending that if you have a desk top light to bring it with you.

Just a note... on March 16th, 2022 a group of us will be gathering at Scrappy Chic to put together a SVG file, (purchased from Dreaming Tree (3dsvg.com)) Bunny Bungalow. Everyone brings their own machines, embellishments, inks, etc. Scrappy Chic has a wonderful supply of papers. We are going to put our projects together and have a fabulous time. Hints and smalls helps will be shared. You can bring another SVG file project to work on if the Bunny is not your style. This is not a class, you sign up and pay for the daily crop. Greetings Clubbers! We decided to have a celebration (just because) during our February meet. We ordered the "romance" lunch from Papa Romanos... heart shaped pizza, salad and cookies! Hung a few balloons and shared our "interactive" projects. We had everything from cards and albums to 3D home decor, all to the wonderful sound of Cricuts cutting! Check out our projects below.

March's theme is flowers... we are already for spring!

Greetings Clubbers! I hope you are all staying warm and being crafty!

Our February meeting is this Saturday, Feb. 12th. Our theme for the month is "interactive". You can submit up to two items, receive one ticket for each item, projects that have been created with your Cricut or have items from your machine receive 2 tickets. We will do a random drawing around 4 pm. Who will win this time?

Being this is a Cricut Club, I'm going to be promoting the "Cricut" much more. It took me a long time to get up the courage and move on to a bigger, newer machine. I was still using my first personal size machine. I love my old machine and I'm very thankful that Scrappy Chic still has over 200 cartridges to rent (in store)... but WOW... the new machines!!!! I have a "Maker". Just recently I have been introduced to the wonderful things I can make and do with it. New ideas and projects are becoming available and are easy to attain. There are different classes you can take at Scrappy Chic to help get you on the right path, see the website www.scrappychiclivonia.com .

While at Cricut Club there are a few of us that can spare a moment or two (5 minutes, this is not a class) to offer help or suggestions. We are sharing our projects which is bringing so much inspiration to all.

Happy Halloween!!!!

Can you believe it's the end of October already? Time is a flying! I hope everyone is well and crafting often.

Our November get together is Saturday, November 13th. Currently we have many seats open. The small room is open and holds 10 people.

The challenge for this month is layouts. A layout can be a regular scrapbook page in any size... 6 x 6, 8 x 8, 8 x 10, etc. A layout can be a calendar page (not the number part), or a journal page. You may submit 2 items (1 item can be a 2 page layout). For each item you submit you will receive 1 ticket. If you use your Cricut machine for anything on your layout, you will receive 2 tickets. All items will be on display until 3:30/4 pm, when we hold the drawing... who knows how many winners there will be this time!!!! Check out some of last month's projects... 3D, home décor, etc.

We talked about doing a soup/stew for club and I'm not sold on it yet so that will be tabled for now.

We will be drawing for Secret Pals! We will do a small exchange for December only. $10 gift limit.

December is right around the corner! During our club meeting we will do an ornament exchange... paper made of course. We will talk about this at our November meeting.

It's time for many of us to check our membership standings. Please ask at the front desk, one of our great staff members can help you out.

We are having a new challenge for September... submit up to 2 cards, fall theme (back to school, Halloween, apples, fall sports, etc.). Receive one ticket per card, 2 tickets per card if you used your Cricut machine to make any embellishments used. All tickets will be placed in a container for a random drawing around 4 pm.
